Director: the fact that Vinterberg made it over Sorkin… yeah, he wasn’t close. Darius Marder or Florian Zeller.

Actor: they didn’t care about The Mauritanian, Lakeith ended up being in Supporting and Kingsley Ben-Adir was a non-starter, so probably Mads Mikkelsen or Delroy Lindo.

Actress: this one is very tricky… I would say Rosamund Pike or Amy Adams, but very far for making it.

    S. Actor: Chadwick Boseman

    S. Actress: Dominique Fishback. Judas competly overperfomed and Lakeith was nominated out of nowhere, so probably she was very close too.

Actress in a Leading Role: Amy Adams (A far away sixth)

Actor in a Supporting Role: Alan Kim (I don’t think it’s Chadwick as the Academy didn’t like Da 5 Bloods)

Actress in a Supporting Role: Jodie Foster/ Dominique Fishback (Considering the love for Judas)

    Hmm

Unlike Olivia Cooke, she was nominated for SAG and shortlisted for BAFTA. It could’ve been either her or Pike.

Helena Zengel was also nominated for SAG and shortlisted for BAFTA.

I think Pike was definitely either 6th or 7th.

Amy Adams being in 6th place sounds like a terrifying reality. I was hoping Sophia Loren would be in 6th but her performance’s buzz declined sharply throughout the season.

Michelle (Yeoh, Williams) Oscar campaign manager.

Best Supporting Actress: Kerry Condon, Nina Hoss

The sixth place for Actress… very hard to guess. The only thing I can be sure of is that she was very far lol

Exactly, and that’s why she was also ahead of Olivia Cooke.

I think Pike was definitely either 6th or 7th.

She was, and so was Amy Adams.
