I’m surprised a thread hasn’t been set up for this yet, so I’ll step and do it. Go ahead and dump your nuclear waste piles that were the worst films of 2019 here. Here are my own:

2. The Beach Bum
3. The Hustle
5. The Angry Birds Movie 2
6. 47 Meters Down: Uncaged
10. Escape Room
11. Wonder Park
12. What Men Want
13. Angel Has Fallen
15. The KitchenJanuary 2, 2020 at 12:28 pm #1203256840
Murder Mystery. Couldn’t even complete it. It was painfully unfunny and had an extremely trite script.January 2, 2020 at 1:03 pm #1203256867
Call me crazy but I liked Isn’t it Romantic. It played with the genre which was nice to see and it was charming.January 2, 2020 at 1:19 pm #1203256880
Midsommar. I couldn’t undertand the critical praise for this one at all.
Mega stupid plot. Bland characters taken from the worst horror movies. And it was nos scary or suspenseful at all.January 2, 2020 at 1:22 pm #1203256884

How could anyone in their right mind put a film with real vision and a powerful leading performance behind Cats?January 2, 2020 at 1:26 pm #1203256888

Haven’t seen many films from the past year yet, but I thought Joker and Jojo Tabbit were terrible.January 2, 2020 at 5:27 pm #1203257167This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.January 3, 2020 at 5:26 am #1203257723
I’ve only seen three terrible films this year thus far- Between Two Ferns: The Movie, Dark Phoenix, and Unicorn Store. The former was complete garbage due to it being painfully unfunny and completely missing opportunities to insult celebrities and instead opted for a borefest road trip movie. Dark Phoenix felt less a movie that explored the Phoenix psych and more “Jean Grey turns evil and the X-Men decide her fate”, and it was failed on all fronts. Unicorn Store was completely in its own bubble and failed to have any likeable or relatable characters.
Oscars 2021: I support Denis Villeneuve (Dune), David Fincher (Mank), Willem Dafoe (The Card Counter), and Glenn Close (Hillbilly Elegy).
