All these threads are used for (and I’ve been guilty of it before) is for people to air their dirty laundry and post cancerous and incendiary comments for no real reason other than for some weird catarsis. You can feel however you want about Three Billboards, TSOW, Phantom Thread, The Wolf of Wall Street, La La Land, Moonlight, Hacksaw, Green Book, The Marvel or DC Franchise, and even Bo Rap but in NO way are those movies WORST of the DECADE. They are literally among the best and the mere fact we’re still talking about them proves it. This is the same decade that has brought us Jack and Jill, Dirty Grandpa, Bucky Larson, The Emoji Movie, Baywatch, Movie 43, several Transformers installments, and countless forgettable horror movie remakes and cash grabs that are so bad we can’t even remember them (let alone debate over which Academy Fucking Awards they should or should not have won).

I know I’m a culprit but Chris started off this thread with awards-contenders he deemed overrated so I continued it that way, as did others I presume. I haven’t seen enough truly inept movies to discuss them but what’s the use of that really? The lowest common denominator stuff is what the Razzies have been singling out every year and it’s become redundant.

Least favorite might be a better title than worst, but the problem is I don’t watch films like the ones you mentioned. Why would I waste my time watching Dirty Grandpa and Jack and Jill when I know they are bad and will hate them, when I could be watching something off Criterion instead? I have never seen a Michael Bay Transformers or a Twilight and I am keeping it that way. So my least favorite films of the decade do tend to include a lot of films that did get very good review, because I don’t go out of my way to watch bad films.
