What are some of the worst Oscar snubs of the last 3 decades?

For me, the one I’m mad about at the moment is Pleasantville being almost completely ignored by AMPAS, despite being fuckin amazing. Joan Allen and Jeff Daniels at least deserved nods.

Marion Cotillard – Rust & Bone. Even better than her La Vie En Rose performance

    Ethan Hawke, First Reformed
Sally Hawkins, Happy-Go-Lucky (though personally I loath her performance and the film she did win all three major film critics awards as well as a Golden Globe and she should have been nominated)
    Paul Giamanti, Sideways
    Liam Neeson, Kinsey
    Naomi Watts, Mulholland Drive
    Bill Murray, Rushmore
    Amy Adams, Arrival

    Naomi Watts, Mulholland Drive

    Björk, Dancer in the Dark

Jim Carrey, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

    Laura Dern, Inland Empire

    Amy Adams, Arrival

    Jennifer Lawrence, mother!

    And many more, darlings…

LENA HEADEY hasn't got an Emmy for Game of Thrones????? Emmys you need to win her right now!!

Lena Headey ("Game of Thrones") for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

If Lena Headey doesn't win the Emmy, I'm leaving GoldDerby forever.

Jim Carrey should’ve won an Oscar for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Terrific performance.
