    Hey guys!

I am curious about your favorite movies of this year. Myself haven’t seen that many yet, but hopefully will get the time soon. Soo much work, dude!

So my humble top ten so far is:

    01: The King
    02. Hustlers

    Then the list fillers:
    03: Avengers: End Game
    04: Spider-Man: Far from Home
    05: The Lion King
    06. John Wick: Parabellum

Yeah so I got some real catch up to do. The King was amazing! It is too bad that Chalamet is not getting the Oscar buzz he should have. His performance is layered, dark and poetic. If there was a category for Best Actor in I limited role, Robert Pattinson would be my nominee for sure. He is funny and great as the French prince

Jennifer Lopez is hot, troubled and incredible as Ramona in Hustlers. Though Jennifer Lopez is a superstar, she was so invested into her character. Her best acting performance since Out of Sight for sure

I have a few favorites so far (Jojo Rabbit leads the pack), but like @john_berchmans above me, I’m waiting for the end of the year before I decide on my Top 10. There’s still so many more I need to see – Ford v Ferrari, 1917, A Hidden Life, etc.

    God’s Nightmares
    Marriage Story
    Luce
    The Farewell
    Rocketman
    Yesterday
And I have to mention Alpha by Albert Hughes, half the team that made From Hell. It came out late 2018 and is carried by Kodi Smit-Mcphee, a wolf, and the amazing Johannes Haukur Johannesson. Almost every shot are some of the most beautiful visual I’ve ever seen.

I do know right now my Top 3 are Parasite, Jojo Rabbit, and Joker, in that order. 4th is probably Endgame. Everything after that is a crapshoot. I think Toy Story 4, John Wick Chapter 3, and Us will be in my Top 10, but with so many movies left to see (including Ford v Ferrari, Knives Out, The Irishman, Marriage Story, Bombshell, Litttle Women, and The Two Popes, it’s impossible to say for sure.

    Academy-Award winners:

Parasite: Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Original Screenplay

Joker: Best Actor - Joaquin Phoenix

    Jojo Rabbit: Best Adapted Screenplay

    Jojo Rabbit

but my too see list is long. So we’ll see if there are any changes before the end of the year.
