RIHANNA HAS MORE SALES IN THE US THAN TAYLOR IN OFFICIAL CERTIFICATES, IT HAS 204 MILLION, WHILE TAYLOR HAS 175 MILLIONAugust 26, 2019 at 2:17 pm #1203040954
2. Taylor Swift
Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Beyonce, will be top 10August 26, 2019 at 2:19 pm #1203040958

I don’t think you get it. It’s more about chart consistency and positions than sales. Taylor likely is gonna beat Rihanna due to immensely better album performance and solid single performance.August 26, 2019 at 10:39 pm #1203042157
billboard already said what weighs is hot 100 my dear, even because the official parads is hot 100, without speaking that Rihanna is the best and one of the best in hot 200.
rihanna is good at album sales, so she has sold 86 million albums worldwide. Not to mention that the anti is 3 and a half years on billboard 200.August 26, 2019 at 10:42 pm #1203042159
mariah carey got it because of the hot 100, if it were to depend on album sales she would be in the top # 1 in the 1990s. and madonna in the 1980s? would it be michael jackson no? for your comment would be that. Just like that, hot 100 is the main North American stopAugust 26, 2019 at 10:44 pm #1203042163
Rihanna greatest artist of her generationAugust 27, 2019 at 7:03 am #1203042565
Drake is the one that released the most music this decade, and most of it has been successful. He’ll probably be the artist of the decade, depending on whichever formula Billboard will be using.August 27, 2019 at 10:41 am #1203043024
Touring will probably be a factor.August 27, 2019 at 11:26 am #1203043077
the tour will never be a factor, after all what made eminem an artist of the decade was no tourAugust 27, 2019 at 11:28 am #1203043081
madonna had the biggest tour and good releases in the 2000s but it was never a parameter for anythingAugust 27, 2019 at 11:52 am #1203043113
Adele deserves it, but she released 2 albums and 9 singles. Drake will be the ‘2010s Artist of the Decade’.September 10, 2019 at 6:30 am #1203067328
What about avicii?September 10, 2019 at 8:39 am #1203067574
Stans clearly don’t understand how this works. Billboard factors almost everything that includes not just success but also frequency. People like Ariana, Cardi, and Post Malone wouldn’t make it since majority of their success came late in the decade.
5. Bruno Mars
These five are locks. Album sales, singles success, chart positions overall. Rihanna’s album sales are actually kinda meh but since she’s a digital monster and had so many hits, she’s easily in the top five.
6. Justin Bieber
7. Ed Sheeran
8. Katy Perry.
Justin’s fanbase had stretched 2010 and he’s a consistent seller no matter what he releases. Ed Sheeran has had massive success but not throughout the entire decade so that’s why I have him lower tier. Katy same thing but in reverse.
Last two spots will have Beyoncé, Gaga, Eminem and One Direction fighting. Eminem’s albums (all but one) have smashed so he could be 9th. Both Beyoncé and Lady Gaga have released 6 albums this decade but only 3 of them have actually done great business (4, ST, and Lemonade for Beyoncé. The Fame Monster, Born This Way and ASIB for Gaga). Problem with Beyoncé is that her singles haven’t been as successful. Ditto for One Direction. But they are massive in touring. So for now.
10. BeyoncéSeptember 11, 2019 at 4:40 am #1203068906
Rihanna was the #3 Billboard hot 100 artist of the 2000s, but after adding her BB200 performance she placed #17 in the artist of the decade ranking. Eminem was weak on the hot 100, but his albums boosted him to #1 overall artist.
SPS (pure albums+equivalents from streaming) this decade, excluding streams from 2010-2014, because Billboard never counted them back than:
Drake 26,2 Million Swift 26,2 Million Adele 26 Million Rihanna 8,2 Million
Drake has a 60/40 ratio from streaming, Adele and Swift mostly from pure albums
Single sales pure without features
Swift 900 Million Rihanna 400 Million Drake 300 Million Adele 250 Million
All in all i would say:
