I don’t know if there is a thread for this yet. Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and Taylor Swift are scheduled to perform.December 17, 2014 at 2:39 am #407634
Sam Smith will win Best British Male and British Single of the Year. He might take home AOTY.December 17, 2014 at 4:33 am #407635
What a shame that Paolo Nutini will propably lose Best British Male Solo Artist to either Ed or Sam… =(December 17, 2014 at 7:59 am #407636
I think X is getting Album of the year it’s the most successful album in the UK this year.December 17, 2014 at 12:17 pm #407637
So far I have X, Caustic Love, In The Lonely Hour and Wanted On Voyage (George Ezra for people who don’t know) predicted as locks. The fifth spot is either so far going to Ghost Stories or Chapter One (Ella Henderson). Best British Male I think will go to Ed Sheeran. Ed has the better selling record, is more commercial and just won the BBC Music Award. Plus, Sam is on his first album and last year John Newman lost out despite being one of the favourites to win. Sam will get one, just maybe not this year. Single Of The Year is decided by Radio listeners, so it can go any which way.December 17, 2014 at 12:19 pm #407638
Also James Bay has been announced winner of the Critics Choice Award. The award has previously gone to the likes of Sam Smith, Adele, Emeli Sande and Jessie J to name a few so look out for him in the future.December 22, 2014 at 1:50 pm #407639

Some VERY questionable choices
ONE bloody DIRECTION????????? Best British Group? REALLY? Let’s see how many awards the make up this year so that they win AGAIN!
How are CHVRCHES up for Best British Breakthrough this year? They broke through in 2013?
No Ben Howard! Just a couple of years after he won two awards, and came back with an almighty album!
Lily Allen up for British Female? Her album performed awfully! I was hoping Jess Glynne would get in here instead.January 15, 2015 at 10:18 am #407645
And I agree, can this please go in to the predictions centre?January 15, 2015 at 10:21 am #407646
On the good side:
January 15, 2015 at 10:28 am #407647
- Sam Smith & George Ezra both doing very well, and incredibly deservedly so
- HOZIER! He has to win International Male!
- Clean Bandit doing well
- COLDPLAY must win British Group. Although I think Royal Blood will, and I would not begrudge them the victory.
- JESSIE WARE!! WOOHOO! So pleased she has been recognised!
- Paolo got into a tight British Male race
- Ella Henderson doing very well. I doubt she’ll win, they don’t like X Factor acts, unless they are boybands(!?)
British Female Solo Artist – 2/5
British Male Solo Artist – 4/5
International Female Solo Artist – 3/5
International Male Solo Artist – 3/5
British Breakthrough Act – 3/5
British Album of the Year – 4/5
British Group – 4/5
International Group – 1/5
British Single – 7/10
I did ok, since I really didn’t know what I was writing down anyways. Shouldn’t have switched out Paloma for Jessie though.
This really should be in the prediction centre.
