Fuck this shit. I wasn’t a big fan, but I loved his style & knew a few songs. NO HUMAN should die at 21.

Another person who has gone forward is the man who gave Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch from Sesame Street their voices. Caroll Spinney is his name. Sesame Street’s Follow That Bird was the first ever film that I saw in the movie theater. I was three when it was released in 1985. I already had a VHS copy of it, but I just now purchased a DVD copy of it as well as a DVD copy of The Muppet Movie which also includes an appearance from Big Bird.

God bless you and Caroll’s circle of friends and family always!!!

    Holly

P.S. By the way, Follow That Bird has some good tunes in it including an awesome duet between Big Bird and late great country music legend Waylon Jennings. In other words, another great singer laid down his microphone today, may God rest his soul as me and the rest of his fans make sure that his voice is still here with us. (bowing my head for him)

Go here to check out my most favorite singer James Otto!

Roxette was such a part of my childhood, and I was hoping to see them live at least once. Wasn’t meant to be, I guess, but RIP Marie 🙁

Marie Fredriksson had such a hard life with all of health troubles she had to deal with. I feel for her family and bandmate. They’ve made beautiful songs together with “Listen to Your Heart”, “It Must Have Been Love” and “Spending My Time” creating trio of perfect pop ballads and “Joyride”, “How Do You Do” and “Dressed for Success” being perfect pop-dance hits. It’s perhaps telling that Marie was basically soloist on the former three and they were male/female duo on the latter three. Roxette was a part of my childhood as well, I’m thankful to my parents that they listened to them so those beautiful songs are among my earliest memories. Rest in Peace, beauty!
