    Pop is a genre. I know it’s short for popular, but it’s definitely means “pop genre” in the AMAs. Otherwise the category wouldn’t exist, since they already have “Artist of the Year”. Plus, the category is named “Pop/Rock”. It means the genre, not “popular”.

    Lauren Jaguar more than likely won’t make the cut. Her solo material has gone no where on the charts. AMAs base their nominations on radio, streams, and sales. She has none.

    As of right now, Ariana will lead the nominees. She might sweep.
