This award show is usually done at the end of June, and it’s already May.

I wonder how they’re going to handle the actual award distribution because I can’t imagine them having an actual award show ceremony this year.

Honey, Beyoncé’s The Lion King: The Gift does NOT deserve an EBT Album of the Year nomination.  That album is trash.  BARF!

I wonder who’ll win Female Hip Hop. It seems like it’ll be between Lizzo, Doja, and Meghan.

Meg has the most buzz right now. She could easily win. Lizzo is probably in second place.

BET will air the awards…online. (via Twitter).

Prediction: The same will happen with VMAs.

Will they give someone else R&B Female? Beyoncé keeps winning, even during her down times. The last two times should have gone to SZA and H.E.R. or Ella Mai.

    Beyoncé finally lost Female R&B/Pop.

Drake, Beyoncé and Chris really do win BET Awards every year, don’t they?

Chris Brown’s wins feel like throwaways. Besides “No Guidance”, his music has been irrelevant. The Weeknd should’ve won that.

Blu Ivy becomes the youngest BET Award winner ever…no comment.

    “Higher” is VOTY? Yeah right.

If there’s any artist who poses a threat to Roddy Rich at the GRAMMYs, it’s probably DaBaby.

The Rap community has embraced him.

Megan Thee Stallion is also getting in across the board. She’s the token Female rapper of the year.
