Country was not that local between 2009-2013.

Outside of Taylor it was tbh. We’ll probably never see a country crossover even come close to Taylor’s popularity though.

‘Luke Combs’ What You See Ain’t Always What You Get (River House/Columbia Nashville) is the early favorite for the #1 spot on next week’s HITS Top 50. The deluxe version of his 2019 album benefits from exceptionally strong streams, which could make up as much as 75% of its weekly total.’

    This is INSANE

This should(will?) be the Bruce’s 9th consecutive top 3(5 and 10) studio album.
He currently has 9 #1’s, 16 top 3, 17 top 5, and three others that peaked outside of the top 10.

Genuinely thought that after TUN she’d be able to go #1 with at least 500-600 points like TUN and 7 rings, but I guess she just doesn’t have as much hype this time around? I wonder why it’s underperforming despite having good promo & reviews. But either way, a #1 is a #1 (even if it’s because points are so low), so good for her. Getting that 5th #1 debut!

I’m not even sure if she’ll debut at number 1 anymore. the same person that made those predictions said, “I got a data source that tells me that “Forever After All” currently has 1.8 times the number of daily downloads as “positions,” and on “Apple Music” and “Amazon(Downloads&Streams)”it’s 1.5 times the number of “positions” ,which are staggering if they last for a week…” meaning if Luke can stay stable on all platforms the number 1 might be his.

I think it will go #1, Ariana has Scooter on her side and if they see that she could potentially lose the top spot they’ll probably pull some tricks to prevent that from happening, like discounting the song or something.
