Homecoming (Live) is fantastic. And it’s getting stellar reviews. But I agree with the sentiment that Bey is not going to win for this. I hope Lizzo breaks through!! She is wonderful. Also very much looking forward to new Lana.

I disagree. She all but had Best Music Film and one or two technical awards in the bag. I believe ‘Before I Let Go’ will be spread across two or more categories.

Would Disney even alow Beyoncé to submit anything besides the lion king stuff? I know she’s Beyoncé but you know how these companies work.

Best Urban Contemporary Album is already jam-packed for me.

    Contenders:

    Kehlani – While We Wait
    Ella Mai – Ella Mai
    Khalid – Free Spirit
    NAO – Saturn
Lizzo – Cuz I Love You
    Beyonce – Homecoming Live
    Anderson .Paak – Ventura
Solange – When I Get Home

I think Anderson, Solange, Kehlani, Khalid and Beyonce are the safest bets.

Can’t give you my source but she’s putting lemonade on streamlining service and releasing a new song along with it.

Disney has no control over her and I don’t think she would have signed on to the project if they were gonna do that! It probably would have said that in her contract and she wouldn’t have signed it if it did!

Ella’s album will probably be placed in R&B.

Lizzo is #1 on iTunes. 😉

She’s coming for an Urban Contemporary slot.

I don’t see Earth anywhere except BMV at most.

She really deserves it. I’d love for her to be the eventual winner.

Okay here’s my rundown. This year isn’t the best year to win Grammys, but there weren’t also music that was relatively bad in my eyes. Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Twenty One Pilots surprised me. Lizzo and Solange are ruling the R&B world. But my whole ordeal is  with rap. There aren’t too many albums being released that are anticipated or relatively interesting. I heard Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar and Chance the Rapper are releasing some music, but frankly I need to see some more proof because this year is being a stale year for rap and a great year for pop music (remember when we were getting a new rap release every week… were is that today?)

Probably not. The project was an overhyped failure. The song is only #30 on Spotify. It’ll be forgotten very soon.
