Honey regardless, this is Taylor Swift’s worst bunch of songs. The songwriting sucks. And the message shouldn’t be important like “Earfquake” that talks about a lgbt heartbreak or a better written song like “wish you were gay” that tackles a way better and interesting topic about being straight and still having to do with the lgbt community.

Could have said it nicer lol but I agree but I think the album tracks will have that taylor swift writing skills I know she has.

“You Need to Calm Down” is NOT a Song of the Year contender.

For the first time from what ive seen from you but all jokes aside this is a fact. Your right it doesn’t fit the category.

Taylor has done nothing with reputation. that gives me confidence with anything that proves she has songwriting ability with commercial success. Probably delicate or New Year’s Day but that’s it. And the songwriting is good not great like Red or Fearless.

Lover is NOT selling 1 million its first week. Both singles tanked. Taylor Swift will probably be getting 0 nominations this time around.

    Both T2 singles

    That had no longevity.

I didn’t say it was more deserving than those songs, I said it was more likely. There’s a difference. “Wish You Were Gay” probably won’t even be entered.

You Need to Calm Down still T10 on pop radio & itunes.

If it had “NO” longevity, it would be off the chart

    It is 4 weeks old.

“Me!” is 11 weeks old (not counting its first week which was from a few days of airplay), and it’s already out of the top 50 on the Hot 100. That is no longevity.

This “Lover” era is a disaster. I don’t know what Taylor was thinking going in this direction with her music. The Grammys will not be here for it either.

She did two months of pre-order and she’s releasing four deluxe editions of Lover that will all include different content…. and we all know her fans are gonna buy all four. You can bet that Lover will get close to a 1mil.

I actually want this eligibility period to hurry up and end anyway because it’s been so lack luster. I’m way more pumped to see  what happens next year. Since Ariana, LG, Taylor Swift, Adele, Bruno, Maroon 5, Shawn, Camila, Halsey, Miley, and Katy are slated to release.

“Sunflower” spends a 30th week in the top ten of the Hot 100; #9 in its 39th week. It will likely end up being #2 on the year-end chart. Unless Post Malone’s label makes the mistake of entering “Wow” or “Goodbyes”, expect this to easily get in ROTY and possibly SOTY as well.

Post Malone nominated for Record of the Year again… YUCK!  Thank goodness he won’t win.

Meanwhile, “You Need to Calm Down” is nowhere in the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10.
    #1 Old Town Road (=) [16x #1]
    #2 bad guy (=)
    #3 I Don’t Care (+3)
    #4 Señorita (+1)
    #5 Talk (-1)
    #6 Truth Hurts (+1)
    #7 Goodbyes (-4)
    #8 Sucker (=)
    #9 Sunflower (=)
    #10 No Guidance (+2)

It’s funny how one minute you hate using radio receipts (i.e “Send My Love” being mainly a hit due to radio), but using it to defend Taylor’s minor hit.

Like I said, no longevity, and that applies to BOTH songs.
