I would’ve scrapped “The Light Is Coming” right fucking away had I written.

That song is like cancer on the ears. I don’t know why she released it.

It’s not even experimental in a good way. The only “experimental” use I can imagine that song for is sound torture, just because no one will want to listen to that mess of a song.

Gaga should go with I’ll Never Love Again Extended version in all Performance categories. And submit “Always” to the Songwriting categories . That’s her best chance. She can honestly take Pop Solo if her biggest competitor is “bad guy”.

Interscope only certified “I’ll Never Love Again” as platinum. Not sure why they didn’t do it for ARUTW.

But it could be an indication that they intend to submit INLA to the Grammy’s. The song went platinum a while ago but they certified only now as grammy submissions are being made.

My guess is that Gaga submissions will be as follow:
Album – Compilation & Album Of The Year
I’ll Never Love Again – SoTY, RoTY, Best Pop Solo Performance & Best Song Written For Visual Media.

    I don’t think they’re submitting anything else.

Well there’s the fact that ARUTW it’s more close to 2x platinum then INLA, so maybe they are waiting for when the final part of voting starts

Nobody is forgetting about her. That song is just too weak commercially for her to be a serious threat to get nominated, let alone win, and there’s already stiff competition.

The chances of her getting past Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Halsey, Lewis Capaldi, Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift, or even perennial nominees like P!nk or Kelly Clarkson with smaller hits are slim to none.

What are your thoughts on Boyfriend’s chances in Best Pop Duo?

I mean I know it’s not going to be a hit as it seems like it’s plummeting already (poor Scooter who said it’s coming for #1), but can’t Ariana benefit from a name check in that category since she’s being nominated in the other two?
