Billie Eilish is not winning for WHISPERING on a song, so stop with the stan bullshit; it is nowhere near being the biggest hit either, which is what they usually give the award to in pop, so it has to be stan bullshit that has people saying that is the frontrunner.
I don’t like Billie’s music (fight me bches), but she is winning this because she’s had the more comercially successful year, not to mention the album was acclaimed.
Pop Solo voters could care less about vocal work. Royals, Happy, Shape of You all won and the vocal performances were nothing special.October 22, 2019 at 4:40 am #1203147265
Being #1 for more weeks doesn’t always mean that one song is a bigger hit than another.October 22, 2019 at 5:53 am #1203147341This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.October 22, 2019 at 5:57 am #1203147345
Why does “Truth Hurts” have to spend more than 8 weeks @ #1 to be competitive for Pop Solo? That makes no sense. It’s a big enough hit as is.October 22, 2019 at 6:14 am #1203147362
Imo I think it’s between Truth Hurts and Bad Guy. I’ll be pleased if either won.

For Pop Solo Performance, I’m still predicting “Bad Guy,” “7 Rings,” “Truth Hurts,” “Always Remember Us This Way,” and “Someone You Loved.” “Without Me” could replace “Someone You Loved,” but I think Capaldi’s song being fresher and baitier helps. The other 4 songs are easy locks.
For Pop Vocal Album, I’m predicting Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, and Ed Sheeran, with the last spot going to either Lana Del Rey or the Jonas Brothers.
Still have no clue how to predict a 5-nominee lineup for Pop Duo/Group Performance. I’m still trying to narrow it down from these options: “Sucker,” “Señorita,” “Old Town Road,” “Sunflower,” “I’ll Never Love Again,” “High Hopes,” and “I Don’t Care.”October 22, 2019 at 10:30 am #1203147649
Bad Guy will be the highest potential nominee on the Year End list for Pop Solo so it’s far and above the biggest hit.October 22, 2019 at 4:43 pm #1203148232
Possible: I’ll Never Love Again (only bcos Lady Gaga is like a pop category darling, but she already swept Pop last year and voters should have had enough of her now)
It should be because it’s the best song mentioned.October 22, 2019 at 4:46 pm #1203148243This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.October 22, 2019 at 4:49 pm #1203148247
hmmm I don’t the the 1975 being nominated in a “pop” category
At the heart of it, it’s a pop album. It might not be a mainstream pop album like Ariana or Billie but notherless it’s pop. I just don’t like to that it won’t get nominated.
