PJ Morton’s “Say So” was submitted to R&B Performance

@CordellMartin, what is the source for this information?

Either way, the women in R&B have really been killing it this year!

Based just on the music I’d agree, but Lizzo’s win would be so symbolic and a great way to reward her success this year!

I could see them going with Khalid for the Song categories. He probably can win both if they really love him.

“Talk” (Khalid) seems like a solid frontrunner to win for R&B Song. Not sure about the performance category though… nor the album one.

I dont think Lizzo is winning anything period. Urban Contemporary is Khalid’s to lose.

Get real! Khalid is NOT winning Best Urban Contemporary Album. Lizzo is totally winning that category. Khalid’s best chance at a win is in Best R&B Song.

His album is bigger. The biggest album tends to win this category.

I’m not sure why but I’m getting the feeling that either Lizzo or Khalid will be blocked from UC, but both will make it into AOTY.

Khalid doesn’t deserve to win a song category with “Talk”. That song is crap. I hope Ella Mai repeats and Lizzo takes Urb Con Album.

For me, the sure nominations in the R&B  performance field are:

“Exactly How I feel” – Lizzo featuring Gucci Mane

    “PTSD” – Fantasia featuring T-Pain

“No Guidance” Chris Brown featuring Drake

    And two others
