    These are my picks

    1. Almeda by Solange
    2. when the party’s over/bury a friend by Billie Eilish
    3. Old Town Road by Lil Nas X feat. Billy Ray Cyrus
    4. Cellophane by FKA Twigs
    5. Con Altura by Rosalía

I wouldn’t be surprised to see ME! or You Need To Calm Down in Music Video. Taylor Swift won this award with Bad Blood, and YNTCD just won Video of the Year at the VMAs. ME! has amazing cinematography.

I doubt it. They were nice and pleasing to the eye but they also aren’t anything special. LWYMMD was a much better MV (all of reputation’s MV are better than Lover’s) and she didn’t get any love.

The winner that year would have had a 62 had the committee not intervened, so Bruno Mars was a decent alternative.

I had Khalid in all 3 at one point but it just feels so wrong. He just seems so light weight. I think I’ll keep him in ROTY and SOTY and leave him out of AOTY.

Khalid is a near-lock in Record and could definitely show up in the other 2.

What do you think the odds are of Ace of Cups being nominated for Best New Artist? I heard them, and they’re amazing. I read their story too, and it’s powerful.

Here’s an article about them that I found on Billboard:

    AOTY

    ROTY

    SOTY

    BNA

    BEST POP SOLO PERFORMANCE

    BEST POP VOCAL ALBUM

    BEST POP DUO/GROUP PERFORMANCE

    BEST RAP ALBUM

    BEST RAP SONG

Honey above Igor, Norman Fucking Rockwell, Lover? I have to laugh, wow. Also they know so little about rap contenders it’s embarrassing.

    For Your Consideration:

    Best Picture: Wolfwalkers

Now that the year is pretty much over, it’s prediction time!

    AOTY

    1. When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?
    2. Thank U, Next
    3. Homecoming: The Live Album (a wild guess but emmy hype and acclaim)
    4. Igor
    5. A Star Is Born
    6. Ventura (that tie last year)
    7. Cuz I Love You
    8. Trench

If Khalid gets an AOTY nom I will choke. There are many other safe mainstream popular albums they could nominate instead. Norman Fucking Rockwell just released and I feel the hype just isn’t there because of it.

    ROTY

    1. Old Town Road
    2. Bad Guy
    3. Thank U, Next
    4. Sunflower
    5. Truth Hurts
    6. Senorita
    7. Talk
    8. Hard Place

Any song other than Old Town Road winning would be wrong.

    SOTY

    1. Thank U, Next
    2. Bad Guy
    3. Old Town Road
    4. Sunflower
    5. Dancing With A Stranger
    6. Sucker
    7. Someone You Loved
    8. Talk

Someone You Loved sounds like the type of song that could win, but I feel the song also sounds too basic, like The Middle last year.

Based on what? How is Talk any different from “Meant To Be” and “Girls Like You” which were both snubbed last year?

They are likely to recognize him somewhere in the GF. But he’s far from being a near lock. His song is neither an undeniable hit nor an acclaimed song.

With that being said I have him in RoTY and AoTY just because I know the committee will want to diversify the line-up.

I agree. I don’t think Khalid is a lock for any of the general field categories, especially NOT AOTY. R&B songs typically get placed in SOTY, so I predict he has a stronger chance at that than ROTY.

How is “Without Me”? If you’re just going to throw around random hits from last year that don’t even sound similar lol
