I think she could possibly win World Music Album if The Gift is placed there, and maybe R&B Performance if the committee stacks the deck for “Before I Let Go” to win. Other than that, I think she falters in every other category where she’s even remotely competitive. She doesn’t have a hit for R&B Song. Urban Contemporary Album is Lizzo’s. Music Film will go to Springsteen if the history of that category is any indication (on top of the fact that Springsteen’s special just beat Beyoncé’s for an Emmy). Visual Media Song is either Gaga or Post Malone.

    Visual Media Song is Sunflower!

I wish the Grammys would pay attention to more lesser known artists. Most of them have the best quality material than some mainstream people.

I second this. The country duo named High Valley is the first act that comes to my mind. They are awesome! (big smile)

God bless you and them always!!!

This song is trash, it will be the GLY of this year

Sunflower is probably taking the pop duo if they submit there

I hope Gaga/Bradley submits like this:

Album of the Year: A Star Is born OST
Best Compilation Soundtrack – A Star is Born OST
Record of the Year – I’ll Never Love Again (extended version)
Song of the Year – Always Remember Us this Way
Pop Solo – I’ll Never Love Again (Extended Version)
    Pop/Duo – I Don’t Know What Love Is
American Roots Performance- Maybe it’s Time
American Roots Song – Maybe It’s Time
    Rock Performance – Black Eyes
    Rock Song – Black Eyes
Song for Visual Media – Always Remember Us This Way

I see them getting at least 4 of these.

This is smart tactically. While the non-pop songs won’t get nominated in their categories, they will raise support from those branches of the Grammys for A Star Is Born in general and help for a broad appeal boost for an AOTY push.

    For Your Consideration:

Best Picture: Weathering With You, Parasite, The Lighthouse
Best Supporting Actor: Willem Dafoe - The Lighthouse
Best Animated Feature: Weathering With You, Promare
Best International Film: Weathering With You, Parasite

Get real! “Sunflower” is NOT winning Best Song Written For Visual Media.

I think Gaga will repeat, but “Sunflower” was MASSIVE and there aren’t really any other big film songs from this year. I wouldn’t count it out.

After contemplating more and more I think A Star Is Born could actually pull off the win if the biggest threat is Billie Eilish..

+ “Cuz I Love You” in R&B Song, and “Crybaby” in Rock Performance and Song. I agree with all of this.

If A Star Is Born gets in AOTY, it’s Gaga’s award to win.

Taylor Swift is officially in the top 8 of combined GoldDerby odds for all 3 major categories:

    Album of the Year
    7. Lover

    Record of the Year
    8. You Need to Calm Down
    16. Lover
    33. Me!

    Song of the Year
    5. Lover
    14. You Need to Calm Down
    39. Me!

    https://www.goldderby.com/odds/combined-odds/grammy-nominations-2020/

Absolutely ridiculous. People keep predicting her in major categories every year only for her to miss out on them (“Look What You Made Me Do” in Record; “Better Man” in Song; Reputation in Album; “Delicate” in Song), yet we keep going through this nonsense every year.

When are some of you going to wake up and realize the Grammys don’t fuck with her like that anymore? She has neither won a Grammy nor been nominated in a major category since 1989 won AOTY.

Are those “fan-voted” or did the GoldDerby people choose them?

It’s combined odds from editors, experts (although none have predicted the Grammys so far), and users, with the top 24 users from last year and the top 24 from the last 2 years overall having more weight. Editor and expert predictions are also weighed more heavily.

But one of the editors is predicting Lover in AOTY, and two are predicting “You Need to Calm Down” and “Lover” in Record and Song, respectively.

I just started actively using this a few months ago so… are they usually right??
