    The most, I think.

I think she gets all four top categories (assuming she’s eligible for BNA) and Urban Contemporary Album at a bare minimum. She’s locked for all of those. That’s 5, right there. Then add in nominations she could potentially pick up in the pop, R&B, rap, and rock fields. She could hit 10.

Rock is definitely not happening. And pop can only happen if she submits “Truth Hurts” there.

I know Gaga and Beck got in with non-hits last year, but one of them is an AoTY winner and the other is a 9-grammy winner who both appeal to the biggest voting bloc in the academy.

I really don’t see Lizzo being the exception to the “only hits” rule in Pop Solo.

Truth hurts would be way way more of a lock in rap sung. I hope her team submits it there. Pop is too crowded all the time

I wish the Grammys would pay attention to more lesser known artists. Most of them have the best quality material than some mainstream people.

I do too, honestly. I cried with joy when Kacey Musgraves won AOTY.

Juice can absolutely happen in Pop Solo. I think that’s more likely than Lizzo getting nominated in Rap Song or Rap Performance.

I think Adele would be shut out of AOTY too. Wether its Adele or Taylor. It going to look bad if either of them were to win a third AOTY award when other artists are hoping for just one. I can imagine all the think pieces on how the Grammys are racist. The backlash would be insane. The safest way to ensure it doesn’t happen is to not nominate either in that field.

I thought Beck was deserving of his win. A lot of people disagree though.
