If Homeocming won’t make then let’s hope Solange gets a shot.

She’s not unbeatable but she is huge competition to others. The only GFs I see her getting is Album and BNA, i’m not 100% set on R/Soty especially if its Bad Guy. But she’s still a threat to others in all GFs.

About AOTY anyway, before the album even came out, she had the “Will Billie Eilish beat Taylor Swifts record as the youngest AOTY winner?” narrative, and overtime, the album obviously got bigger.

Just to remind you some things. Get Real!

Lover won’t receive an AOTY nom, even if she gets enough votes to make it she will hopefully be blocked. And Taylor is going empty-handed again.

Khalid isn’t receiving an AOTY neither, his album came and went and was panned by critics.  His best shot is ROTY with Talk and I’m not even sure about it.

Ariana Grande isn’t winning anything, at best I could see her winning Pop Solo but im not sold on it.

Billie Eillish will win BNA and Pop Vocal Album and that’s all, she’s not sweeping GF for god’s sake.

That Lewis Capaldi, will be a non-factor except in SOTY which is his bests shot. He has no chances at Pop Solo.

Lizzo will get the most nominations and at least she’s winning Best Urban Contemporary Album.

Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry won’t get any nominations.

For the millionth time Maggie Roggers won’t get an AOTY nomination.

I could see Lana del Rey entering on AOTY or Pop Vocal. But she’s just getting one of them and they will block her if she submits in Alternative

    But the real question is:

Since 2017 that the majority of first time Grammy nominees doesn’t get Grammy at first time like Cardi, Post, Shawn and others, will Billie Eilish guarantee a Grammy win at her first time being nominated?

Cardi is a different story she wasn’t gonna win against Kendrick that year . Kendrick obviously had the better project and he was gonna win without a doubt. Secondly Post Malone was one of the weakest contenders against the People he was up against in his noms and wasn’t a threat. Also Shawn wasn’t gonna win against Ariana and especially GF categories. In that case Billie isn’t in that predicament she has one of the strongest albums this year and it’s without a doubt she’s walking home with an award. If Lizzo and Rosalía aren’t eligible then Billie already has BNA in her hand and it’s pretty expected of her to win Best Pop Vocal.

Random question but will Sigrid’s label submit her to BNA this ceremony or wait until she really breaks through? Sucker Punch was one of my favorite albums of the year and I think she has huge promise as an artist.

God Control should get nominated. One of Madonna’s most boldest videos. I feel like they might snub her :/

Has Billboard made their BNA Grammy Edition this year? If I’m not wrong they usually take 3 BNA prospects each year. I’m guessing it’ll be Billie, Lizzo, and either Maggie Rogers, Lil Nas X or Lewis Capaldi

I’m thinking Best New Artist will look like…

    Billie Eilish (Pop/Alternative)

    Lil Nas X (Hip-Hop)

    Lizzo (R&B/Pop/Hip-Hop)

    Rosalía (Latin/Pop/Urban)

    Maggie Rogers (Pop/Americana)

    Lewis Capaldi (Pop)

    Morgan Wallen (Country)

    Megan Thee Stallion (Hip-Hop)

I can also see a situation where Lil Nas X misses out on a Best New Artist nomination since he didn’t release a full album as well as Lewis Capaldi missing out, due to voters not being aware of the rest of his album besides his lead single.

I can see DaBaby making it in over Lil Nas X. I feel that Megan will make it in over City Girls though (even though both have about 2 big hits each).

Also, Lewis could miss out in favor of a Rock contender not on anyone’s radar. The Blue Ribbon Panel will want to be inclusive as possible to all the genres since there are 8 nominees.

I’m pretty confident at this point that Rosalía (as long as she’s eligible and on the ballot) will get nominated! We haven’t had a foreign/world music nominee in a VERY long time… not since maybe Andrea Bocelli perhaps????

I think Tyler Childers might be a stronger country pick. Bro-country artists like Morgan Wallen don’t do that well here. That said, Sam Hunt did get a nom (though he barely counts as country).
