TUN was not a show stopper. It was big at the time, but it faded in a matter of months.

Why do posters keep saying this when it’s not true at all.

Because for example WAFAWDWG is at #8 (predicted to rise to #6) now and TUN is at 37. And these are were released only one month apart, not to mention that TUN the single only charted for 28 weeks.

Does anyone know when we’ll get official predictions on the main page for the Grammys? Nominations are less than a month away.

They don’t do experts predictions anymore. But there are the editors:
    https://www.goldderby.com/awardshows/editor-predictions/grammy-nominations-2020/album/sort/recent/

They all agree on 4 picks: When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go, Thank U Next, A Star Is Born and Cuz I Love.

For the rest each has 4 different picks.

I don’t think TUN held up well enough for Ariana Grande to repeat. Billie’s album has held up pretty well on the charts, and the Grammys love embracing a breakthrough ingenue. Plus, the pop album category is not a category with many repeats. The two repeats were several years apart. Ariana would have to overperform in some way for her to have a chance at beating Billie.

Looks like Lizzo is campaigning for SOTY… Felt similar to Shawn Mendes talking about In My Blood last year during voting.

I believe her. People are just trying to leech off her success. The fact that they only want 5% and to split the money with a person who tweeted something (she’s not getting dime) says enough for me. It’s a non-story. Still think she’s competitive for SOTY and BNA.

The girl that tweeted the line originally is getting added as a songwriter. I fear the more plagiarism claims that comes out about the song may hurt her chances at Song of the Year.

This Is America had plagiarism claims and still swept. Most voters really don’t care about these things.

Oh god, suddenly I hope Truth Hurts won’t win SoTY. Imagine if it wins and that random twitter girl shows up on stage and hijacks the speech.

No, then it should win the award. That would be a moment.

Ok no but seriously. The courts suck at what their doing. This suing culture is ruining the music and publishing industry. The juries don’t know music for shit.

..No different than Dua Lipa winning.
