Homecoming was such a great live album, one of the best live albums of the decade. I really did not care for the gift from a few songs from the project but I never go back to any of the songs atm. Homecoming was phenomenal, quality was great, production and band felt immense. Beyoncé really did come through with a good record. It might be a commercial fail, but it wasn’t a full released album and I do see it as one of her underrated works..svg” class=”emoji”

I didn’t really consider that new material from her you know! We’ve all heard it and we all watched Coachella so I kinda discarded that one but I totally agree!!

Neither ASIB, Lana or Lizzo deserve AOTY. The only ones who really do are Billie and Ariana, the biggest (Billie) and most acclaimed album (Ariana) of this period respectively

Lana has the most acclaimed album.

Hun you’re completely wrong… ASIB has reached 6 million global sales in this period and Norman Fucking Rockwell has a better score on metacritic… nice try though hun. Exactly where did you get your information from btw?

The biggest album of this grammy year is ASIB, not WWAFAWDWG. And the most acclaimed is NFR! not Thank U Next.

I’m all for Rosalia getting into AOTY! El Mal Querer is a fantastic album! Go latinos! We need more Latino representation at the Grammys!!!

Lmfao TUN was definitely the most acclaimed album of the year… by Ariana’s fanbase only. Lana is the critical darling and she is coming to put all these pop bitches in the dirt and claim her rightful AOTY got dammit!

I am officially moving Rosalia into my AOTY noms because clearly Rosalia is a big thing now, and the whole point of the committee is to diversify the nominees so of course they will include the Flamenco super star.

Rosalía is not happening in AOTY just because she won AOTY at the Latin Grammys. There’s no correlation between the two.

I think Rosalia has 60% odds of breaking into best album due to a few factors. 1. increased from 5 to 8 AOTY slots ie. a 60% increase in slots. If 2 to 4 of those slots are locks, there is more like a 100%-400% increase in slots for the non lock candidates. 2. It’s actually a good and artistic album that is respected by a lot of people 3. Latin music has grown in popularity a lot recently and Rosalia is a huge super star that just won Latino AOTY so it only makes sense to have her as a nominee 4. Grammy’s need to court Latino viewers since they are the fastest growing American demographic. I expect more Latin nominations and latin AOTY nominations at least every other year going forward.

WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? is by far bigger than A Star Is Born.

ASIB has sold over double the amount of copies WWAFAWDWG has.
