All of whom are at least capable of writing good songs. You stan someone who feeds on drama and feuds. All she does is mock people and adds to the fire. She’s an empty brain.

you literally described Taylor Swift, but ok…

Not sure why people are predicting Megan Thee Stallion. She’s not happening. She comes off as another Nicki Minaj. And they already made the mistake of nominating that one. I think Summer Walker fits more the mould of urban artists the Grammy’s like to nominate.

she had a lot of hype this year and ended up with a decent hit. Whether that’ll be enough, I dont know

Her album was well received and she’s the likeliest rap nominee. She has nothing to do with Summer Walker who’s more likely to draw comparisons to the other r&b artists in contention, namely Ari Lennox, Jamila Woods, and Lizzo. Summer’s hurt by the fact that her album came out after the deadline, so even if the committee liked it they could choose to see if she’s still eligible next year. I think that’s the biggest reason Ella Mai was left out last year.

She was probably left out because she was a one hit wonder at the time, and they’ve been known to shut those out in the past.

I agree. I removed her out of my predictions, but I didn’t add Summer Walker because her R&B presences has came from her latest album, so I see her maybe popping in next eligibility period rather than now.

Megan will definitely make it. Female representative for Rap. The most popular one right now especially.

I ended up swapping Talk for 7 Rings. Talk is really not as big as people make it out to be. He kinda feels like the type of artists who will just get an AoTY nod of acknowledgement and that’s it. I feel his music became way too mainstream and generic this year.

I remember last year on the eve of the nominations day I ended up adding Sweetener which didn’t happen. So hopefully won’t be the same this year.

I wonder who will be this year’s “Meant To Be” and “Girls Like You” though. We thought those two were near-locks last year but they missed.
