Honey, as much as I want Lucky Daye to win a Grammy, it’s NOT happening. He’s in the same boat that Jazmine Sullivan was – showered with R&B noms, but will lose to stronger competition.

While I do agree, you said the same thing about H.E.R. last year. She won two.

Who knows? He might have more support than you think. Jazmine did lose to R&B heavyweights Al Green, Mary J. Blige and Alicia Keys, so not exactly the same situation.

Jazmine Sullivan deserves that Grammy! It’s the time to give it to her and her easiest time at that .

wouldn’t be surprised if PJ Morton wins everything else except that one. Jazmine may just be cursed.

Im almost preparing myself for a Jerome win.

You guys are really getting my hopes up about Tanya Tucker and Jazmine Sullivan ending their Grammy losing streaks. Also hopeful legend Sara Barelleis can name check her way to her first win in the ROOTS category lol.

Honey, you’re kind of right about H.E.R. I did think there was a possibly she could go home empty-handed.

H.E.R. scored two GF noms and is well-liked in the industry. Unfortunately, Lucky Daye doesn’t have that type of love/support.

the beat for Jerome sounds like a poor man’s “Love on the Brain”. A song that the Grammys snubbed (albeit, Rihanna should’ve waited to submit it when it was a single not an album track).

Love on the Brain would’ve been a no-brainer for the win in 2018.

Tanya really over-performed and having her be the lone country GF nominee has probably made her a rallying point. She’s definitely taking at least one home tomorrow.

I honestly think he will. There’s no Kendrick or Drake in the picture . Rap Album is sorta open but he’s sorta the frontrunner . Almost every nominee has a narrative. We’ll just him and 21 Savage. Meek Would be the “Popular Win”

The R&B field really fucked over Ari Lennox.

She deserved to go 4/4 this year.

Up Late – Best Traditional R&B
Shea Butter Baby – R&B Performance
Shea Butter Baby – R&B Song
Shea Butter Baby – R&B Album

+ a Best New Artist nod.

The Recording Academy can be so fucking stupid.

Hopefully next year she can get in for Best R&B Performance with BMO. Hopefully its not too late.
