Do you guys think Beyoncé will still win BSWFVM after her Oscar snub? I’m changing back to Gaga for now.

It’s different Academy’s though so it’s different voters, right? Grammy voters went overdrive with TLK, giving it nominations in Score and Pop, which it didn’t need. I still think Beyoncé is winning.

Why has Lana not done a Bond theme! She is such an obvious choice with her siren vocals and her vintage and cinematic sound.

I applaud Ariana for releasing two solid, critically acclaimed, commercially successful albums within a 6 month span from each other. One having won a Grammy for BPVA. That alone is an achievement. Also the fact that she received so many Grammy nominations this go around. I wouldn’t even care if she goes home empty handed. We already know the Grammys tired politics. They have snubbed so many artists and their great works. Not everyone can “win”.

Hypothetical question, but if you got to switch 7 by Lil Nas X with any album of the eligibility period, what album would you add to AOTY?

    FYC:
AOTY: Fetch the Bolt Cutters or After Hours
ROTY & SOTY: Blinding Lights & Don’t Start Now
BNA: Megan Thee Stallion or Rina Sawayama
    Rap Album: RTJ4
    Country Album: Gaslighter
    Americana Album: Reunions
    Pop Album: SAWAYAMA
    Rock Album: The New Abnormal
    R&B Performance: Do It

For me personally, I would have added U.F.O.F. or Two Hands by Big Thief, even though indie rock is already overrepresented this year. For what I think would have been a reasonable pick for a popular album that balances out the other nominated genres, I would choose Igor by Tyler the Creator

I’m gonna riot if ASIB loses this.

Voters should not care how many Grammy’s Gaga has or whether she won last year. It is simply the best soundtrack and the most impactful in contention (it’s not even close, it moved like 6M+ WW, when other are like below 200k I think?).

Imagine if she loses to Taron fucking Egerton lmao

I’d also love to see Florence Welch do a bond theme.

Honey, A Star Is Boring is NOT the best soundtrack nominated.  Regardless of how much it sold, it deserves to lose.

    Igor – Tyler, The Creator

    Ventura – Anderson .Paak

    Lover – Taylor Swift

A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships – The 1975

One of these should replace 7 EP – Lil Nas X in AOTY
