Never had a Taylor Swift album tho 👀

Which is why I didn’t get people saying that this was a weaker year for music and that the Grammys should postpone. There have been many at least good releases this year, even on the mainstream front.
I give myself a bit of a pat on the back for predicting ‘Fetch’, Run the Jewels, Punisher to 1, 2, and 3. Though if you were really paying attention it wasn’t that hard to predict. Folklore has a slight chance of pushing Punisher. But most of the more popular/mainstream leaning publications have already put out their lists.

I’m just focusing on the last four or five years, where they seem to have purposely put a more widely popular and well-known artist at number one. Lover and Reputation didn’t have the acclaim to justify a number one placement. And there were more suitable options.

I still remember that they get dragged to filth for putting that U2’s mediocre album at #1 lol.

They’re pretty messy and basic at the this point. Rolling Stone is about the photo shoots alone nowadays.
