    AOTY.org current leaderboard Top10 (34 lists)

    • Fetch the Bolt Cutters – 155
    • RT4J – 122
    • Punisher – 103
    • Rough & Rowdy Highways – 80
    • folklore – 79
    • UNTITLED (Black Is) – 69
    • Future Nostalgia – 63
    • Saint Cloud – 60
    • Set Fire on My Heart Immediately – 57
    • SAWAYAMA – 54

Huh so far my prediction for the Top 5 remains intact. This year competition is more fierce than 2019.

    For you consideration :

Album of the year : folklore
Record of the year : Don't Start Now
Song of the year : cardigan
Best new artist : Phoebe Bridgers

Best pop vocal album : folklore
    Best rap album : Alfredo
Best alternative music album : Fetch the Bolt Cutters
Best progressive R&B album : Ungodly Hour

Rolling Stone has consistently put a mainstream and very popular performer number 1 for last several years. So, I figured they’d go with Folklore.

Never had a Taylor Swift album tho 👀

This year competition is more fierce than 2019.

Which is why I didn’t get people saying that this was a weaker year for music and that the Grammys should postpone. There have been many at least good releases this year, even on the mainstream front.

I give myself a bit of a pat on the back for predicting ‘Fetch’, Run the Jewels, Punisher to 1, 2, and 3. Though if you were really paying attention it wasn’t that hard to predict. Folklore has a slight chance of pushing Punisher. But most of the more popular/mainstream leaning publications have already put out their lists.

I’m just focusing on the last four or five years, where they seem to have purposely put a more widely popular and well-known artist at number one. Lover and Reputation didn’t have the acclaim to justify a number one placement. And there were more suitable options.

I still remember that they get dragged to filth for putting that U2’s mediocre album at #1 lol.

They’re pretty messy and basic at the this point. Rolling Stone is about the photo shoots alone nowadays.

It seems to me that Fiona, Taylor and Dua most likely in the Top 10 of The Guardian list.

I think Dua will be topping all of the UK ones
