2020 Music Year End Lists Aggregate

Even with different writers, it’s kinda surprising to see Folklore not make Paste’s top 50. Multiple writers usually have a say so when it comes to those scores. And they did post that article defending Taylor from people saying she was cribbing the “indie sound”. Folklore is all over the place with these lists. It may end up 4-6. But top 3 is unlikely.

I’m not at all surprised Future Nostalgia is doing relatively well. I figured it’d at least be in the top ten. There really aren’t that many commercial pop options. And it did pretty well in the mid-year lists.

As the lists become more Americanized I see Taylor climbing even more. folklore is doing really well on the lists it makes it on, but for some reason it’s missing some lists entirely. Still, it’s a fantastic showing for her so far this year.
