i understand u guys are all mentioning the two to have some kind of conversation but i can literally bet my life savings neither positions or evermore will walk away with pop vocal album next year. evermore won’t win bc taylor isn’t loved by pop voters. positions won’t win bc although its a hit album, it doesn’t have anything else that would entice pop voters to pull for it, there won’t be any passion. there will easily be a strong frontrunner that’ll emerge by august. not to mention billie will be releasing her album soon and regardless of what critics say about it, it will be ahead of both taylor and ariana.
If Positions gets another hit (which POV will likely be) it can definitely win, are you insinuating that Positions can’t take it because it’s not pop enough? Billie thinks of her own music as alternative and still competes in pop so that argument wouldn’t hold up.

where did i say positions isn’t pop enough??? i said it won’t entice pop voters to vote for it because it’s nothing special. it has the hits but its also her least acclaimed album, a huge step down from thank, u next. i love ariana and positions has grown on me but this isn’t a sweetener or thank u, next situation. the only reason it’s being pegged as the frontrunner is bc there isn’t much competition right now. but in 5 months time i can bet my life savings there’ll be a frontrunner to emerge.
