Pop Duo is written already Dua Lipa ft. Dababy – Levitating, unless something comes in August/Sept.

I need to catch up chile. Haven’t been on here in a while omg. I would say it’s Olivia vs Billie in Pop ?. Pop Duo Group looks pretty open . Ariana could get overshadowed again like with “TUN”.

Tony X Gaga vs Dua X Dababy

If Gaga and Tony or Silk Sonic enter in BPDGP they are winning, if neither enter it’s probably going to Levitating

It’s surprising how “Butter” has managed to miss some predictions. The impact might not be as strong as “Dynamite”, but BTS are still the biggest band in the world. I think it’s in, for now.

I think Butter has real chances in BPDGP. They’re campaigning HARD and, well, it may not have the same impact as Dynamite, but it made numbers and they’re the biggest artists in the world as of now, so. I’m guessing:

    Best Pop Duo/Group Performance:

    – Beautiful Mistakes, Maroon 5 featuring Megan Thee Stallion

    – Peaches, Justin Bieber featuring Daniel Caesar, Giveon

    – Butter, BTS

    – Kiss Me More, Doja Cat and SZA

    – Levitating, Dua Lipa featuring DaBaby

MAYBE: Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett, if it comes out; Coldplay “Higher Power”

Beautiful Mistakes” is def the weakest link among my predictions.

Beautiful Mistakes has stronger general appeal than Butter and Grammys-wise 2  Grammy winners have better odds than a 1-Time nominee. And generally speaking collaborations normally do much better in this category than group songs (groups have only won twice).

Maroon 5 missed with memories which was a much bigger hit. I’d put their odds lower than BTS especially since their album bombed even with all the features. Nobody is checking for them, there is no passion behind them.

Plus BTS & Coldplay will be out by the time voting starts which will help BTS out for Grammy nominations.

Honey, I’m iffy on BTS getting in Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.  “Butter” does NOT feel as big as “Dynamite.”  BTS can easily miss.

Don’t be surprised if there’s an upset in BPSP. It’s name starts with ‘M’ and ends in ‘O’. “drivers license” is a bigger hit & more Grammy friendly, but Lil Nas X has been buzzworthy all 2021. He’s a strong #2/5.

Honey, there will NOT be an upset in Best Pop Solo Performance.  Olivia Rodrigo is easily winning that category (and Best New Artist).

If BTS submits with Coldplay they will definitely get in, but I don’t think Butter has what it takes. And Memories was a bigger hit, but I said the category is more prone to nominate duets than group songs

Levitating is a no brainer in Pop Duo/Group, considering Bieber never got a pop Grammy.

    Rest in Peace MF DOOM

    Rest in Peace DMX

I feel like BTS are 5th for Pop Duo, assuming that Gaga x Tony album doesn’t drop.

    IMO…

    Locks:
    1. Levitating
    2. Kiss Me More
    3. Peaches

    Safe bets
    4. Higher Power

    Strong possibility
    5. Butter
    6. Dákiti
    7. Heat Waves

Pretty sure the lineup will be 5 of those 8.

    FYC - Lil Nas X
MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name) - ROTY, SOTY, Best Pop Solo Perf., Best Music Video
INDUSTRY BABY - Best Melodic Rap Perf., Best Rap Song
MONTERO - AOTY, Best Pop Vocal Album

Add P!nk to the list. Don’t underestimate her.
