Am I the only one who’s now thinking that LNX is 5th for BPVA instead of Justin? Assuming the album drops on time obviously. I think it will though, he definitely cares about grammys.

There’s a possibility 6 albums are nominated instead of 5

I agree Lil Nas X is likely getting in BPVA since he’s submitting there. I don’t see why he’d be moved considering the songs he’s already put out

    1. Olivia Rodrigo – SOUR
    2. Billie Eilish – Happier Than Ever
    3. Lil Nas X – MONTERO
    4. Taylor Swift – evermore
    5. Ed Sheeran vs. Justin Bieber vs. Ariana Grande

This definitely could be a year where there’s 6 nominees though

I’d place Nas 5-6th. Pop voters do have a bias for more “conventionally pop” stars that are more established, like Beyoncé or Taylor Swift. Nonetheless I think he can get in. I’d also see him as one of those cases where he could happen in AOTY and miss genre due to cross genre support.

    1. Sour
    2. Happier Than Ever
    3. Positions
    4. Justice
    5. Evermore
    6. Montero
    7. Planet Her

Any other album at this rate is likely not happening.

    FYC - Lil Nas X
MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name) - ROTY, SOTY, Best Pop Solo Perf., Best Music Video
INDUSTRY BABY - Best Melodic Rap Perf., Best Rap Song
MONTERO - AOTY, Best Pop Vocal Album

Honey, Lil Nas X will probably miss Best Pop Vocal Album again.  That category is stacked.

Doja Cat is taking someone’s spot. Figure it out.

Evermore could very well miss the nom. I don’t know why you guys think it’s a lock in the Pop Album category. Olivia, Ariana and Billie are the locks. Don’t know about the other two.

If Ed drops Nas X/Doja definitely won’t be nominated. The six would be: Rodrigo, Eilish, Bieber, Grande, Swift, & Sheeran.

Best Pop Solo is gonna be a bloodbath this year.

Potential Nominees: Olivia Rodriguo (safe), Ariana Grande (safe), Justin Bieber, Lil Nas X, Ed Sheeran, Billie Eilish, Camila Cabello, Taylor Swift, Doja Cat

My ranking of the possible candidates(separated by strength):

    Olivia
    ———–
    Ed
    Billie
    Ariana
    ———–
    Lil Nas X
    Taylor
    Justin
    ————
    Dua
    Harry
    ———–
    Doja
    Camila

I think anyone up to Harry can happen though

Evermore is a lock for a nomination in Best Pop Vocal Album. It may be in many ways just a less interesting sequel to Folklore, but Taylor hasn’t missed this category since switching to pop and Evermore is way more deserving than Lover or Reputation was. I don’t see any way that she wins though

I hate to say it as a big fan of Camila Cabello, but I didn’t even know she had a song eligible. She hasn’t had a big year in music, her most likely nomination is for the Soundtrack category for Cinderella and I wouldn’t bet on it. If Kay Cannon couldn’t get Pitch Perfect nominated than a Cinderella film surely won’t get it done

    BPVA:

    Olivia
    Billie
    Ariana

    Taylor
    Justin Bieber/Doja Cat/ Lil Nas X

I do not think Ed Sheeran is dropping before the deadline.

Evermore is not a locked nominee. There is way too much competition this year and it’s an older album. Olivia and Billie are the only for-sure nominees.

Billie and Lil Nas are safe in Pop Solo, probably moreso than Ariana

Doja is not a factor. What would she be competing with? “Ain’t Shit”? Ain’t happening.
