ReplyCopy URLJanuary 18, 2021 at 6:09 pm #1203990497Honey, the Rap committee will laugh “34+35” (Remix) right out of Best Melodic Rap Performance.
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 19, 2021 at 4:32 am #1203990853No one believes 34+35 is getting into Melodic Rap Performance just because they predict the song to be submitted in there.
Its only chance would be if shit happened and there was an extraordinary shortage of Rap hits in 2021.
But the Rap committee would still rather pick an Xtina promotional single, Beyoncé mumbling behind Jay’s voice or a Kendrick album track over 34+35.

Album of the year : folklore
Record of the year : Don't Start Now
Song of the year : cardigan
Best new artist : Phoebe BridgersBest pop vocal album : folklore
Best rap album : Alfredo
Best alternative music album : Fetch the Bolt Cutters
Best progressive R&B album : Ungodly HourJanuary 19, 2021 at 4:53 am #1203990881Willow might get a namecheck nomination in SOTY but don’t get too hopeful about it, it’s a complete flop.
It’s currently more stable than Cardigan was into it’s run.
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 19, 2021 at 5:00 am #1203990892Taylor got in SOTY with ‘lover’ which had a similar trajectory as ‘willow’ so there’s no reason why she should be ruled out.
Also, everyone’s said this before: even her most panned album (Reputation) got in BPVA, she’s not missing it with evermore which is one of her more acclaimed albums and has the folklore brand attached to it.
If she wins big this year then maybe voter fatigue would work against her but she’s not ruled out anywhere yet.
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 19, 2021 at 5:36 am #1203990915Ariana Grande will only get two nominations: BPVA, BPSP
Even the most optimistic predictions would not put the garbage she put out this year in the GF and 34+35 remix is NOT coming close to the grammys.
The album and the single are already largely forgotten.
changes, a far far FAR worse album, got 3/3 in pop, including yummy in the most competitive category. they have the same manager. stop letting your personal opinion get in the way, 34+35 remix could very easily happen

Lover was bigger though,it charted for 23 weeks if I’m not wrong(better song too imo). It also was released very close to voting.
I’m sure evermore will get in BPVA but reputation really wasn’t as panned as many think. It has 71 on metacritic which is not that bad? Reputation was way more commercially successful too.Acclaim is not everything, panned albums get in all the time. Her sales are not as high either this time.I love taylor but really don’t see her getting lots of grammy noms with a sister album to folklore if it wins.
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 19, 2021 at 7:43 am #1203991056But evermore haves like 85% on metacritic? By far her second most acclaimed album (right after folklore). If folklore wins big (as it should) probably evermore wont win anything but it still will get nominated, imo.
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 19, 2021 at 8:05 am #1203991072Ariana Grande is NO Grammy darling (as she shouldn’t) . She’s barely getting in with positions, what makes you think that abominable remix will come close to the grammys especially when it’s free falling everywhere.
delusional.
so what? the song is still going to the top 3 next. it’s a hit. it can happen easily. again, stop letting personal opinion cloud your judgement
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 19, 2021 at 10:32 am #1203991479Honey, every Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé, and Jay-Z song shits all over the awful “34+35.” BARF!
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 19, 2021 at 10:35 am #1203991493Honey, Ariana Grande is always overestimated by her delusional fans.

that’s so funny considering you always find a way to (incorrectly) predict xtina
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 19, 2021 at 10:50 am #1203991556Ariana has been nominated consistently in the Pop field since My Everything. There’s no reason why she would miss with Positions which has appeared to be pretty stable on the charts.
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 19, 2021 at 10:57 am #1203991593Fact #1: The ENTIRE album charted on the billboard 100, with the lowest being Love Language at #75
Fact #2: Positions (Track) is still in the Top5 of the Hot 100, 2 1/2 months after release
Fact #3: 34+35 the original track peaked at #8 and and is still at #13, expect the remix to chart well too
Fact#4: Positions the album is still in the top 5 of billboard 200, 2 1/2 months after release
Fact#5: Ariana scored 5 top 40 hits with Positions – title track, 34+35, POV, off the table, motive
Opinion #1: If nominations where tomorrow, Ariana would be nominated across the board in the GF, Pop, and even get a nod for BMV and possibly R&B. She would take Pop Solo if noms were tomorrow while BPVA would be between her and Evermore
opinion #2: Positions is the only commerical juggernaut so far almost 4 months into the eligibility period
opinion#3: Ariana is a lock for Pop Group/Duo (be it for 34+35, Motive, or potential Bieber collab), Pop Solo, and Pop Album, with other potential submissions and nominations in R&B for off the table, BMV for positions, and some GF noms
