I know this may be a silly question, however, what do these panels do at the Grammys?

its like a voting block that decides the final nominees for categories. Most obscure nominees that aren’t known well normally become those picks within a panel .

I kinda think she has a better chance at song. A lot of notable names (in the industry) worked on it. I think that stands out more during voting than just “Normani ft. Cardi B”

Yebba’s album is great. I can see her in Progressive R&B album, R&B performance, and maybe even Melodic Rap? Was already predicting her in Traditional R&B for the Lucky collab and don’t expect her to submit a new song there.

Next month, SNL is premiering its new season. On the R&B side, who would you like to see perform? Jazmine Sullivan, Giveon, H.E.R. again? Any others? Thoughts?

Jazmine would be amazing. If SZA finally decides to drop her album then it’ll be good promo to perform on the show. Ari Lennox could also be a possibility and maybe even Chlöe.

What is everyone’s thoughts on Chlöe’s debut solo single, Have Mercy? I think it’s so catchy and fun, and already very popular on TikTok due to the snippet having been out for months.

Not sure if it’ll have any chances of a Grammy unless it becomes a huge hit in the next couple weeks, but Chlöe is definitely one to watch. She said she hopes to drop her debut album soon and it’s 90% done, so we could very well see her nominated in Best Progressive R&B Album for the 2023 ceremony.

Song is a massive bop. I can see a nomination only if Urban radio latches onto it immediately. Her being at the top of the list in R&B Performance (C) can help.

If Doja submits here she can make it a bit more interesting.

They were basically the ones that pick the final nominees out of the top 15 vote-getters.

Okay. Thank you. Kind off topic, but who is that woman as your profile by the way?
