Yeah. I didn’t need to but I couldn’t help myself. BTS is the Artist of the Year in 2021. That’s all that matters and you Swifties can stay mad all you want.

Leave Taylor out of this and if we are are real, It was given to BTS for the ratings, Taylor has moved 5 million album units this year in USA(with Red TV she is easily ending the year with 6 million album units), she is the true artist of the year.

    Some legendary stats btw:

Lol we all know the real artist of the year was Dua Lipa, The Weeknd or even Olivia Rodriguo. Neither BTS or Taylor Swift had an impact this year so just chill.

It’s a fan voted show. The fans voted and that’s that. None of this is that serious to be weirdly insulting.

Congrats to BTS and all of the other winners, especially the fans who voted.

    Congratulations, Army and BTS <3

The one thing I’m sad about is that Maneskin performed Beggin’ instead of their original Italian songs. There’s a small similarity with BTS, who also struggle to get their original self-written Korean music heard in ‘higher places’. I hope they have supportive fans too, who understand the struggle and the path to ‘paving the way’.

Friend chilllll, the BTS fans are minding our own business. The person just hates Taylor Swift and use any artist that beats her to say nasty crap. Last year it was rooting for Harry and Dua over her, this year it’s BTS for the AMA just cause they beat her.

I don’t even know who you are. I don’t know you and you definitely don’t know me so keep quiet and fuck off.

Keep lying to yourself. BTS is the Artist of the Year. Stay pressed. What’s done is done. Taylor won’t even be the Artist of the Year on Billboard with the year BTS, Olivia Rodrigo, Drake and many others have had. Taylor Swift is not the Artist of the Year in 2021. Goodbye.

AMA’s ratings are in. Solid hold considering the other two award shows lost viewers.

“In a tough climate for televised awards shows, the 2021 American Music Awards managed to hold steady with last year’s ratings even as social media around it surged.

Sunday night’s awards show, which was hosted by Cardi B, averaged a 1.0/7 rating among adults 18-49 and around 4 million total viewers, according to Nielsen. These numbers held even with last year’s AMAs, which had slid 40% from the year prior in the viewership column and similarly in ratings.

ABC touted the social interaction around the event, calling the three-hour broadcast the most social telecast of 2021 based on Talkwalker Social Content Ratings, formerly Nielsen Social. Excluding presidential debates, the AMAs primetime broadcast on Sunday, Nov. 21 was the most social telecast in the last three years according to these measurements— including the last three Super Bowls. Per the Talkwalker ratings, there were 46.5 million total interactions on Sunday night posting or chattering about the 2021 American Music Awards across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube — up 39% year-over-year. In addition, there were 24 million view counts generated across those same social platforms (up 68% compared to 2020).”

Still.. The AMAs gave the people what they want!

Despite the fact that they had 0 to NO NAMES. It BARELY declined.
