I’m not gonna lie. I feel Dark Horse should’ve won that year. That song is a bop. The production is incredible.

Does anyone know if the Grammy voters see who produced and who wrote the song along with the artist when it comes to voting who should be nominated in ROTY and SOTY?

Personally, I would love Savage REMIX or Say So REMIX second week than either of the two songs mentioned, but Stuck with You is the lesser evil than GOOMBA. We shall see.

Does anyone really care about a song going on? Like for example, I don’t see Nicki any different granted that she has a number one to her name. 69 can have his number one, but he’s legacy will be remember for the shitty stuff he has done, regardless of peak on Billboard.

    FYC:
AOTY: Fetch the Bolt Cutters or After Hours
ROTY & SOTY: Blinding Lights & Don’t Start Now
BNA: Megan Thee Stallion or Rina Sawayama
    Rap Album: RTJ4
    Pop Album: SAWAYAMA
    Rock Album: The New Abnormal
    R&B Performance: Do It

Of course they don’t. Why would they read the writers and producers of hundreds of songs? Thry barely listen to them.

Your post is probably about Say So and Dr. Luke though and everyone knows he produced it, but the voting is anonymous so they won’t care. If the song doesn’t touch the general field it’s because they just didn’t like it.

That’s why I hope they change their voting process to preferential. It would feel more “genuine”.

I’m a little bummed that both Charli and How I’m Feeling Now are both in the same awards period, that might make it harder for them to get nominated. Shame, they’re two of the best pop albums in recent memory.

Has anyone listened to the album Charli XCX just put out? Is it any good?

I have. I like it, but it is probably her least poppy album. No complaints from me, but I don’t think there’s a Gone or a Blame It On Your Love to latch onto for non-fans, so I don’t think it’ll get onto the Grammys stage. Shame, it is one of the most entertaining rides and some of the most distorted chaos I’ve heard in a while.

But that country song last year only got in because it was written by Brandi carlile

I remember I so wanted Fancy to win at the time. You classified them right. Dark Horse wasn’t the best, but I wanted Katy to manage one win

Chromatica: Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album.

Rain On Me: Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best Music Video.

    Alice: Best Pop Solo Performance
