You say that about every song. What ARE the contenders then?

The 2022 and 2023 Grammys should be way more interesting than this year because a lot of heavyweights are long overdue. I believe that a lot of artists postponed their albums because touring isn’t viable right now due to coronavirus. All of the following (mostly Grammy winning/nominated) artists either have said that an album is on the way, or haven’t released an album in more than three years:
    -Adele
    -Kendrick Lamar
    -Rihanna
-Drake (if he doesn’t release this summer)
    -Beyoncé
    -Lana Del Rey
-Radiohead (no releases excluding the deluxe reissue of OK Computer)
    -Cardi B
    -Nicki Minaj
    -Migos
    -Lorde
    -Frank Ocean
    -Bruno Mars
    -Jay-Z
    -SOPHIE
-Miley Cyrus (part 2 and 3 of her EP series)
    -Playboi Carti
    -Luke Bryan
    -Katy Perry
    -A$AP Rocky
    -Sam Smith
    -John Mayer
    -SZA
    -Daft Punk
    -Calvin Harris
    -Zedd
    -The War on Drugs/Kurt Vile
    -Fleet Foxes/Father John Misty
    -Miguel
    -Alicia Keys
    -fun.
    -Skrillex
    -Aphex Twin
    -D’angelo
    -Arcade Fire
    -Bjork
    -Erykah Badu
    -Sky Ferrera
    -Tierra Whack

There are probably a lot more that I am forgetting, and a lot more in genres that I don’t pay attention to.

half of these people are non factors. And I have no idea who the fuck is sky Ferrera, migos, Playboi Cardi, war on drugs etc.
