yeah someone major is going to be snubbed, just don’t know who!June 30, 2020 at 5:29 am #1203558429
Definitely Halsey and I have a feeling Dua will be nominated but she´ll be like ariana and lose everything
But is Halsey considered “someone major” this year? I understand last year because Without Me was big but this year she hasn’t made any noise to me.June 30, 2020 at 5:57 am #1203558453
House of Balloons was not eligible for Grammys anyway. It was a free mixtape. Know your history. His first eligible release was Kiss Land.June 30, 2020 at 5:57 am #1203558455
Other than Halsey herself, Harry is most vulnerable to be this year’s Halsey.June 30, 2020 at 6:02 am #1203558461
I feel like Halsey would deserve this BPVA nod, it would kind of repay her after last year’s snub. But after she spoke out againist the Grammy’s in various occasions i highly doubt it. That’s why I’m not gonna predict her.
I feel like Camila could take the filler spot in BPVA. I see her being more likely than Justin and Selena, mainly because she has a lot of recent history with the Academy.June 30, 2020 at 6:04 am #1203558465

I did mention that it was a free mixtape a few pages back until it was included on Trilogy for sale and streaming. But you’re right that saying it would have been good a good winner does imply that was even eligible. I still maintain that isolated from the context (not eligible, not famous enough, competing against Adele 21), HoB would have made a good AOTY winner. Now the Grammy’s have a shot this year to award him, but Fiona also really deserves so I am conflicted.June 30, 2020 at 6:11 am #1203558484
I would much rather see Halsey take the final slot than Camilla, Justin or Selena. I relistened to Sawayama again and my second listen registered better than the first. Comme Des Garcons is still awful, but some of the more stadium rock tracks with heavy guitar are pretty good. Charli XCX new album also is catchy. Its not gonna happen, but I think the pop field needs to start saving a slot for our electro-pop, cyber-pop, left of center pop stars that are taking pop to a more weird place than we hear on the radio. Even Lana wasn’t commercial enough last year to crack the pop field.June 30, 2020 at 6:37 am #1203558516
Does Rina have a chance to get nominated in pop? Do they have a committee to pick and choose from the top 20 like the GF? I think someone mentioned that they didn’t. Rina getting nominated between all those big names would be good exposure.June 30, 2020 at 6:39 am #1203558522

Pop doesn’t have a committee.June 30, 2020 at 6:55 am #1203558534
Kanye tweeted the WUITB video is coming at 10 AM EST which is 5 minutes from now! I’ll probably be looking like a clown again in 5 minutes when he doesn’t release.June 30, 2020 at 7:02 am #1203558538
