Camila and Post Malone’s hits were MUCH bigger.

Pretty sure Ariana was 2nd considering she won the other category. She was also benefiting from TUN hype while Camila was definitely old news. It’s just that TUN hype wasn’t strong enough to overcome ASIB hype. But I think she was a strong second in Pop Solo.

Gaga also won with a non-hit, so it’s not a guarantee that Post or Camila was ahead of Ariana or even Beck. Last year was just a weird year for the pop field.

I don’t think it will. It already fell to #4 on its 2nd day on Spotify and on kworb sales are decreasing very fast. For reference Shallow held the #1 spot for months. And I don’t think radios will play the song considering it’s not really upbeat. The best she can hope for is a strong TOP10 debut and an Oscar/GG nominations and potentially wins if the competition is weak.

No M radio is going to play it, Everything i wanted is 14 on the radio chart and it’s even more slow than No time to die

Everything I Wanted is far superior though. It’s my favorite Billie song.

“No Time To Die” is kinda forgettable. But we’ll see.

Same. I like it more every time I here. But I can’t see it getting into the GF if even Skyfall by Grammy darling Adele didn’t. Maybe a Pop Solo nom.

Skyfall was not submitted in the GF.

No it isn’t??? Everything I Wanted has drums and, you know, a groove.

No Time to Die is at 71.5 BPM (technically 143, but it has the sensation of 71.5 since it’s a ballad) while Everything I Wanted is at 120 BPM.

Shallow came out a week prior to the movie being released. No Time To Die isn’t in cinemas until the beginning of April.

I think it was submitted to GF, just not Pop Solo. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

We know why Gaga won, though. And that Beck song was filler.

    Hold Up:

So Adele has found a way to win ROTY/SOTY/Pop Solo 2 years in a row.

I’m obsessed with Justin Bieber’s Intentions. I love the song. Yummy was an awful first single.

lol this is literally the ONLY song in the album that has a chance to become a hit

What a mistake he made with that Yummi single

He won two other Grammys that night, which is two more than what Camila or Post won that night, and those voters could have crossed over. I don’t think it’s a given fact that Camila or Post was second that year.

She’ll win Pop Solo two years in a row. But the GF committee will block her from ROTY/SOTY noms the second year if she wins the first.

If Adele is releasing in September, that’s most likely going to qualify for the upcoming Grammys. The deadline was shortened to August last year because the telecast was bumped up several weeks earlier. The last time the Grammy deadline ended in August, in 2009, it went back to September the following year.
