Can someone explain to me why y’all are predicting Harry? He hasn’t had a hit off of this album and the only reason his album sales were really high was because of your bundles! Like a genuinely wanna hear a reason why they would start nominating him now?

    Adore You?

Also, most of his sales weren’t bundled.

I don’t get the Fine Line hype either. It hasn’t held up well enough for him to be undeniable. There aren’t any smashes on the album. It got good reviews but isn’t as acclaimed as 3 of the nominees last year. It could be nominated but I don’t feel like it has anything really strong going for it

That’s not going to happen and, unlike Dua, Post and Harry, I don’t see her as a lock on BPVA just yet.

It’s way too early to call Dua or Harry locks. Dua’s album isn’t even out.

Can someone remind me why Pharrell is credited with Sweetener’s Pop Vocal Album win again??

He produced the majority of the album

Post isn’t a lock either. His last album missed a nomination.

Dua should submit Future Nostalgia to Best Dance/Electronic Album.

Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories and Madonna’s Confessions on a Dancefloor were Best Dance/Electronic Album winners, and Future Nostalgia sounds like it is influenced by those albuns.

Confessions On a Dance Floor was in 2005; it would have been moved to Pop Vocal Album had it been released today.

Random Access Memories should have been placed in Best Pop Vocal Album, but Daft Punk’s name helped.

No it shouldn’t have. The majority of the album is instrumentals.

It’s very insulting to Daft Punk to consider them Pop. They’re not. And they’ve never given in to Pop Culture. They’ve always distinguished themselves.

Of the 13 songs on the album, only 2 are instrumental or mostly instrumental, so it is indeed a vocal album.

How is a genre an insult? Random Access Memories is a pop album influenced by dance music, rock, and funk. Pop is not an insulting label; quit being pretentious.

Random Access Memories is not a pop album, like at all. Its was correctly categorized

The Fame and COADF are more discutable but RAM really isn’t
