As of now, I’m only going to predict songs that I can see getting nominated:

    Best Pop Solo:

    1. Lady Gaga – Stupid Love
    2. Post Malone – Circles
    3. Dua Lipa – Don’t Start Now
    4. The Weeknd – Blinding Lights
    5. Billie Eilish – Everything I Wanted (maybe? If voters don’t feel like it’s overkill to nominate her again after she swept)

(The Weeknd underperformed in Pop two times with “I Can Feel It” and “Pray For Me” but he should easily get in this year)

    Best Pop Duo/GP:

    1. Justin Bieber feat. Quavo – Intentions

    Best Pop Album:

    1. Post Malone – Hollywood’s Bleeding

After Hours is really on its way to becoming AOTY. This era is so beautiful and well done.

    Rap Album

    Kendrick Lamar- LP5

Roddy Ricch- Please Excuse Me For Being Anti-Social

    Lil Uzi Vert- Eternal Atake

albums: græ, how i’m feeling now, future nostalgia, starmaker, sawayama, the slow rush, after hours, suddenly, fetch the bolt cutters, 2017-2019, the new abnormal, circles, heavenly to a tortured mind

Honey, Lady Gaga’s label was dumb as fuck. They should’ve waited and NOT submitted her in Best Dance Recording.

This is true. She would likely also have won Best Pop Collaboration with “Just Dance” in that weak lineup. That and BNA would have doubled her Grammy wins in 2010.

Pop Solo Important/Possible Contenders (For Now – No Order)

    Don’t Start Now
    Stupid Love
    Blinding Lights
    Adele’s Lead (if she releases)
    Circles
    Say So
    everything I wanted
graveyard or *you should be sad*
    Adore You

Honestly I don’t see Camila or Selena making it this year. Romance don’t have a Havana or and Señorita was basically that big hit for it (My Oh My is having some success) plus the era died out quickly… same for Selena.

Lose You To Love Me is a mature progression but there are more songs that will overshadow her … plus I don’t think the Academy really likes her at all.

Harry could make it finally but I wouldn’t be shocked if he gets shut out. Adore You is a great song too.

Doja Cat is starting to become the one of the “Push Artists” this year and Say So is being received so well, She could be a important contender if the song has staying power.

    Just my opinions so far

I wonder how R&B will be this year as well (if the panel doesn’t have a favorite this year) Doja will definitely be in Urban Contemporary. Summer Walker could finally make it this year and Tinashe “might” can breakthrough but idk.

EVERYTHING Abel has done in this era has been great. From the layout to the music videos to the short film he just released, he has been great at building up hype for After Hours.

It’s great. Country radio won’t support them, but I hope the Grammys do.

Katy Perry + ballad = Meh.

She needs to take a long break and make people miss her.

Maybe do the Vegas residency thing for a couple years then comeback with a full blown era.

“you look like your picture, thank god.”

That doesn’t work like that these days. Bieber and Gomez both were gone for 4 years and where are they now? People tend to switch to other artists if the music isn’t being released constantly.
