Carrie & Lowell is not criminally underrated, shown with its huge amount of critical success. Right now, Gaga’s single as of now is a flop, but is slowing rising in radio and charts. I’m 50/50 on Gaga’s success this era, especially due to the Coronavirus. But hey I feel optimistic and I hope you guys too. and is Rihanna an artist at this point? girl teases us more than a stripper.

Carrie & Lowell was only a critical success not a commercial one.

Gaga is only rising on radio and thats the last place you want to consider to measure success. We all know how that works. SL was/is a streaming stalemate and the digital sales only lasted the first week(They weren’t even that good)

    Isn’t Sufjan’s album only instrumentals ?

Carrie & Lowell was one of the best albums of the 2010s but I don’t think Aporia is a proper follow up. Sounds more like a side project a la Planetarium

After Hours is Abel’s weakest album. I don’t know what it is but I seriously can’t get into it.

To be fair, a lot of indie albums did not sell well in the 2010s. I mean record sales think Imagine Dragons is a rock band. Gaga is a wild card, I’m not sure she will rise to number 1, but a part of me what’s her to subvert my expectations. We will find out to the weeks that come.

Honey; I do NOT even like Rihanna all like that, however, I’ll take her over Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, and the rest of those bitches.  Hope she releases something soon.

So far these albums seems to creating the most talk this year and getting the most attention.

    Dua Lipa – Future Nostalgia
    Post Malone – Hollywood’s Bleeding
Roddy Ricch – Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial
    Harry Styles – Fine Line
    The Weeknd – After Hours

Other possibilites that could have some roadblocks in front of them either commercially, critically or prestige (Grammy bait).

BTS – Map of the Soul: 7
    Bad Bunny – YHLQMDLG
    Childish Gambino – 3.15.20
Luke Combs – What You See is What You Get
    Doja Cat – Hot Pink
    Grimes – Miss Anthropocene
    The Highwomen – The Highwomen
    Brittany Howard – Jaime
Lil Uzi Vert – Eternal Atake
    Mac Miller – Circles
Tame Impala – The Slow Rush
    Summer Walker – Over It

Some upcoming albums that could do well.

    Dixie Chicks – Gaslighter
HAIM – Women in Music Pt. 3
    Lady Gaga – Chromatica
Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit – Reunions
Sam Smith – To Die For

Some albums that came and went and could pop up in genre categories, but I don’t expect in AOTY talks.

    Beck – Hyperspace
    Justin Bieber – Changes
    Camila Cabello – Romance
    Coldplay – Everyday Life
Eminem – Music to Be Murdered By
    FKA twigs – MAGDALENE
    Selena Gomez – Rare
    Halsey – Manic
    Kesha – High Road
    Lil Wayne – Funeral

Right. Just like Adele was suppose to release music back in November.

HDD just confirmed it. I’m not in the business of spreading false rumors:

Future Nostalgia debuts with a 97 on Metacritic based on 5 reviews. Take from that what you will.

Um no. Future Nostalgia is not 97 material.

Critics have lost their minds. Physical is the only standout track that I’ve heard so far. It’s definitely a decent album. But higher than Lemonade, Good Kid Maad City, When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go? Naah.

Future Nostalgia is a great pop record but it seems to be overrated already at this point..
