Dua got y’all PRESSED. Take several seats.March 26, 2020 at 2:40 pm #1203395786
I’m lowkey expecting Rolling Stone to give Future Nostalgia a five-star review.
They gave it 4/5
I think the album will end up at like 90March 26, 2020 at 2:42 pm #1203395788
At this point FN isn’t dipping below 85. That’s definitely enough to be an ‘acclaim’ pick for AOTY. Add that to DSN being a smash and the fact that it will likely be more successful as a whole than other ‘acclaim’ picks (NFR!, Dirty Computer), I see her as a near AOTY lock and potential winner.March 26, 2020 at 2:44 pm #1203395791

Do people still put value on critical reviews………?
As we’ve seen, it doesn’t impact nominations or success.
It’s just bragging rights for the artists and their fans.
My name is NOT Susan.March 26, 2020 at 2:49 pm #1203395804
Pitchfork ain’t giving it more than an 8. They rarely do 9 and let’s not talk about a 10 cause it ain’t happening.March 26, 2020 at 2:50 pm #1203395806
Dua’s album is incredible. Y’all are definitely on crackMarch 26, 2020 at 2:59 pm #1203395813
Nobody’s saying Dua’s album is bad lmfao, just that it’s not worthy of a near perfect score.March 26, 2020 at 3:01 pm #1203395815
It’s so funny watching you all scramble in attempt to come to terms with the fact that MISS Dua Lipa (SAY HER NAME!!!) is dropping her magnum opus tonight and critics are recognizing that! Future Nostalgia is a breezy, cover to cover cohesive pop masterpiece…. a LOT of people will be scared here…. a LOT of people will be scared, and I’ll name em!
delusional swifties grab back! women grab back!March 26, 2020 at 3:06 pm #1203395825
It has fallen to 95 now so don’t overreact people. Anyway, really happy for her.March 26, 2020 at 3:06 pm #1203395828
tbh i give it a 90 but giving it a 99? Yikes, i could name at least 20 better albums than this in the past yearsMarch 26, 2020 at 3:14 pm #1203395836
Critics pushing for a white girl’s generic pop album to ensure that she wins AOTY. How usual!March 26, 2020 at 3:20 pm #1203395848
Hoping Dua ends with around a 90. I haven’t heard it yet, but based on others and the songs we have heard Im sure it will be incredible.
Anyways I’m happy she’s getting this recognition. She really deserves it
