Me bumping my rate of Future Nostalgia once again after saying it wasn’t that extraordinary in my initial listen

I gave it a 9/10 initially and it’s been growing on me too. Hallucinate sweetie I am so sorry I said you were one of the worst tracks.

AOTY winner. I have a feeling he’s going to be the first black artist to win AOTY in 18 years. It’ll be historic.

They would give Album of the Year to Dua Lipa before The Weeknd.

The Grammys go for safe, bland, and predictable.

The Weeknd is too edgy and “urban”.

“you look like your picture, thank god.”

Thoughts on if any music videos released so far will be nominated for Best Music Video?

I could see The Box making it and maybe one of Dua’s- Don’t Start Now is her weakest out of the three released but also the most popular. Physical and Break My Heart are fantastic but I’m not sure which one she would submit if it were those two.

The 1975’s Birthday Party is awesome, but might be too obscure for the voters. But then again, Tove Lo made it this past year as a nominee.

“The Box” is the current front runner.

    11 weeks at #1 doesn’t hurt either.

    BEST MUSIC VIDEO (Contenders):
    Dixie Chicks, “Gaslighter”
    Billie Eilish, “everything i wanted”
    Green Day, “Oh Yeah!”
    Tame Impala, “Lost in Yesterday”
    Alicia Keys, “Underdog”
    Dua Lipa, “Physical”
    Roddy Rich, “The Box”
Travis Scott, “HIGHEST IN THE ROOM”
    Sam Smith, “To Die For”
    The Weeknd, “Blinding Lights”

“you look like your picture, thank god.”

The Box is the most deserving at this point. If not SOTY, then at least ROTY.

albums: græ, how i’m feeling now, future nostalgia, starmaker, sawayama, the slow rush, after hours, suddenly, fetch the bolt cutters, 2017-2019, the new abnormal, circles, heavenly to a tortured mind

I hope The Weeknd breaks the mold with subject matter with the Grammys. He gave us a full era that I was not expecting.

The Box won’t even touch BMV.

Finally heard the Dua album. Really really amazing production. But that’s about it. It reminded me of Jess Glynne’s I cry when I laugh which I consider a better album(That album didn’t get grammy love, painfully)

There’s nothing ground breaking about Dua’s album. Really. I don’t get the hype. All that hype deserves to go to the production coz that’s one of the best produced records in recent memory.
Don’t start now is the standout but I don’t see her winning for this record when she didn’t win for Dua Lipa.

Did someone call The Weeknd too ‘edgy’ and ‘urban’. Lmao. Is that what those old white grammy racists tell themselves?

Bad Bunny has created a lot of buzz and maintained it. The streaming numbers from his album are not going down(surprisingly) and although I don’t speak/understand spanish. There are bops on that wierdly titled album. I expect him to win in the latino categories.

What are the critics smoking of late though? Lil Uzi is at 88, J Hus at 87, Bad Bunny at 88, Dua at 89. Are they being paid?

Honey, these critics are smoking crack cocaine.  They gave Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, Lana Del Rey, The Weekend, among others all over an 80 on Metacritic.  BARF!

FN is now resting at 89 on MT, I didn’t listen the album cause I don’t like pop music. I’m hoping it drops at 85-87. Y’all really thought she was winning AOTY lmao.

You don’t even listen to pop music, why would you hope it to drop several points. I swear you are d**b af.

Somehow we all think about critics too much. If the album is overrated, let it be like that. Let girls have their moments. What critics think doesn’t even matter. They’re all just people like us, with their own opinions. Only the time will show if the album is good or not.

Gaslighter is such a good song. It should get nominated for SOTY.

Dua Lipa album is basic af. What are you guys on????

I honestly thought I was the only one with ears. It’s all the boredom and isolation from this pandemic that’s making people lose their senses.

I pray everything Future Nostalgia related will be forgotten soon and people can focus on music deserving of an honor from the Recording Academy and not the EMA’s or Billboard Music Awards.

I’ve seen worse albums with higher scores. This legit means nothing at this point.
