I’m not a fan of Ariana, but No Tears Left To Cry remains unbothered as her best song to date. That song fully showcases her vocal potential. The only part I dislike is the excessively repetitive “I’m pickin it up”. But the chorus vocals are flawless.

I agree, plus the production behind the song is absolutely amazing with Ilya and Max Martin taking charge of it. The sound and tone of the song is so different from anything I’ve heard in Pop music at the time of it’s release. Plus the motive & meaning behind the song is what sold it for me. It was an excellent comeback track that showed strength and resilience from Ariana Grande after all of the things she’s been through.

I just think it’s funny how LYTLM just keeps getting looked over and over and over. Wow

It’s been so overlooked that I forgot Selena even released a song and an album and I had to google what LYTLM stood for. I don’t think many Grammy voters will remember it during the nomination voting

I’m not sure if she even did any live performances or any other promotion after the album release week was over. It almost feels like she dropped the album and went into hiding.

Childish Gambino may not have a successful album, but since his new album is acclaimed and he won Record and Song Of The Year, don’t be surprised to see him nominated for AOTY and taking it home.

Honey, so is “thank u. next,” “No Tears Left to Cry,” “Dangerous Woman” and every Ariana Grande song that got nominated.

Honey, I forgot to add “Boyfriend,” “God Is a Woman,” and “Problem” to the bland list.

Petition to put Mac Miller’s album in Urban Contemporary since it’s a blend of Neo-Soul and rap, not just rap.

Sometimes I think of Urban Contemporary is  a blend of r&b and rap trends, but what truly is it. That’s where Tyler’s album probably deserve to be if it were. But I don’t really understand the need. There’s really a couple of albums that blend the genre, and mostly it’s the winners of these said awards. Why isn’t Post Malone here for b&b? Why is Lizzo in “Urban Contemporary” but Ariana Grande is not. Cuz I Love You is a blend of R&B and pop. Can’t wait to discuss how this was a category at the Grammys 20-30 years from now. What a fucking racist title. What the fuck is fucking Urban Contemporary anyways? Please define it. My mind!

Another example is robbing Roddy Ricch of BNA and ROTY, which he probably deserves at this point unless Blinding Lights or Don’t Start Now have legs. The rules for BNA are stupid ASF and he has not released a project with his features. Will Doja Cat win? She does not scream winner as much as The Weeknd but…okay I guess.

Coldplay’s Everyday Life could show up in Pop Vocal Album. Their panned EP got a nomination over Melodrama, so.

Mac Miller will almost certainly not be in Rap. That is not a Rap album and he has competed in Urban before.

I do wonder where Good News will be slotted. It could fit into Pop Solo or R&B but they could Hotline-Bling-it into Rap Sung.

Honey, it does NOT matter where Mac Miller is submitted, he is NOT getting nominated.  The sympathy thing is over.

I don’t know why I have a feeling Post Malone will miss in AOTY. He already feels like Old News in April. And Circles seems to be the only hit from that album.
