I don’t think Taylor cares much about having another single at this point. I feel like she already did what she wanted to do with the Lover album in the past months. In my opinion she should try to push Cruel Summer to the Radios, even though with no music video / performances it will obviously be hard to make it succesful. The song is good so she should at least try, she has nothing to lose.

She should’ve released Miss Americana when the doc was released, Afterglow for spring and Cruel Summer for summer. That wouldn’t really work but I would’ve loved videos for all of them.

Afterglow had the potential to be the Delicate of the Love era.

Imo Taylor messed up her era when she decided to go with The Man to prove a point and narrative that absolutely no one outside of stan twitter cares about. Cruel Summer would’ve been miles smarter

I agree The Man shouldn’t have been a single. The production is trash, sorry.

This era should’ve been You Need to Calm Down, Lover, Afterglow, and Miss Americana to end the era. Release ME! and The Man as promo singles.

Do you think Coldplay have a shot at the Pop categories next year?? I honestly don’t think so. I understand that their useless EP was nominated some years ago but it was carried by a huge hit which was also nominated. Their only chance could be BPDGP since the category is super weak and will obviously have fillers.

I don’t think Coldplay will make it lol. Even BPGD has some minor competition for them but if they do make it they’ll be a filler .

Pop Categories this year will be very questionable because many things can happen . I honestly believe Abel will win Best Pop Solo but the Grammys might feel inclined to reward Post Malone after nominating him on multiple occasions. They have some appeal towards him since he keeps getting into the GF .

Then you have Dua Lipa who proved herself with “Future Nostalgia”. DSN is a stable hit and she gave a outstanding dance record. I see them nominating 3 Big Hits and 2 minor hits (everything I wanted being one of those) Future Nostalgia is like a perfect pop record.

Pop Album could go to Post as a spoiler choice. Lady Gaga has a chance since this is her Comeback to Pop Music and she teamed with Ariana (since she’s becoming more respected in the Academy) and this will shed some light towards how they’ll receive “Rain On Me”.

Camila and Selena have no chance at all …. both released piss poor albums. Selena is not what you call a “Grammy-nominated artist” .I only see Harry Styles in Pop Album only.

Left field Picks like RINA SAWAYAMA have acclaim but if she had a lil more commercial attention . I would see her as competition but anything could happen . I hope we get some surprises honestly.

Honey, Coldplay are NOT to be underestimated.  They’ve gotten unexpected Pop nominations for crap in the past.

Coldplay could get in, especially after the surprise name-check nomination for their EP a few years ago. But their last two nominations in Pop Album came when they had big hits in those respective years.

Everyday Life was a huge commercial underperformance and hasn’t produced any major hits. I think they’ll get passed over for people who have been more visible this year, like Justin Bieber, Halsey, or Camila Cabello.

Halsey deserves that fifth spot imo.
