Christina Aguilera is performing her songs from Mulan on GMA Monday. She is coming. Along with the Disney Plus Release on Friday Xtine is starting her campaign. Watch out for her in:
    Pop Solo
    Pop Duo
    Record of the Year.

LMAO. I didn’t realize we were still playing the absurd predictions game.

I don’t want Christina to take any spot from Taylor in the pop categories. Imagine if this happens.

if Xtine sneaks in shes winning. Only vocalists should win in pop solo. And let’s face it. Neither Taylor, Abel, Eyelash, Post It, Can hold a damn tune.

Being the best vocalist means shit in Pop Solo and we have seen it multiple times during the years (Ed Sheeran is a 2 time winner remember??). There’s no way Xtina wins anything this year. And she is absolutely not winning Pop Solo with a song that won’t even chart. She’ll be lucky to even garner a nomination, and if she does it will probably be in Pop Duo.

I hope the nominees in Pop Duo/Group this year are random AF.

I’m not hear for double nominations for Bieber and Grande or Maroon 5 getting in.

Hoping maybe some of the Country, R&B or Rap collaborations that could pass as “pop” are submitted and allowed to compete.

i miss the good ole days when actual singers won vocal Grammys.

Double noms aren’t allowed this year.

    Best Pop Vocal Album
    “Chromatica” – Lady Gaga
    “Future Nostalgia” – Dua Lipa
    “Hollywood’s Bleeding” – Post Malone
    “folklore” – Taylor Swift
    “Fine Line” – Harry Styles

    Best Pop Solo Performance
    “Circles” – Post Malone
    “Adore You” – Harry Styles
    “Physical” – Dua Lipa
“everything I wanted” – Billie Eilish
    “Blinding Lights” – The Weeknd

    Best Pop Duo/Group Performance
“Intentions” – Justin Bieber & Quavo
“Fall on Me” – Christina Aguilera & TGBW
“My Oh My” – Camila Cabello & DaBaby
“Rain on Me” – Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande
    “Memories” – Maroon 5

I’m still convinced Dua will use DSN for Best Dance Recording.

Fall On Me could show up here and it sounds like songs they tend to go for… not to mention Xtina won this category with TGBG before .

It wouldn’t be a surprise if they get nominated and can potentially pull an upset. Just a prediction but I’m not so sure on Taylor getting in here but she is my 6th choice of one of my predicted songs fail in Pop/Duo.

We should’ve learned that Christina can show up in these categories.. she even showed up in Rap/Sung with a song that didn’t even chart anywhere .

    Christina was probably a write-in for Rap/Sung.

Also, in the case that Don’t Start Now gets accepted in Dance, I doubt Physical will get a nom. Cardigan is the next best bet.

Regarding XTina, will they really go for a rehash of a 20+ year old song? Is there precedent for this?

Dua could submit Break My heart for Pop Solo and Don’t Start Now for Dance

Physical wasn’t a single in the US so it wouldn’t have too many chances to get a nomination

    My Pop Duo lineup:

RITMO – Black Eyed Peas, J Balvin
Intentions – Justin Bieber f/ Quavo
Rain on Me – Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande
Exile – Taylor Swift f/ Bon Iver
My Oh My – Camila Cabello f/ DaBaby

I just don’t think BTS belongs to the Grammys. They should at least uphold some integrity.

I’m not seeing it for My Oh My. Maybe it’s because it was released and had its whole chart run pre-pandemic but it feels incredibly old. Camila is no sort of Grammy darling and the song was nowhere near big enough to guarantee her a spot. I see them going for Fall On Me or Already before My Oh My.

Christina will get into Pop Solo with either one of Mulan’s songs. The Grammy’s love you embrace legacy acts: Kelly, Pink, Beyonce, Timberlake, Gaga to an extent. It’s also what she deserves for the travesty of a snub she received for Bionic. It does not hurt that her vocals are way better than any of the people topping charts this year.

I think it’s fair if Intentions gets a nomination. It did well on charts, sales and it’s not a bad song. If the grammy indicates Dynamite instead of it, it will prove that it’s all for the (teen) audience
