So controversial thought but could K Bye For Now get in over Chromatica? I’m not predicting it but I’m wondering if it’s possible.
As for BPDG, I’ll say it again; Dynamite getting nominated is not as bad as y’all are making it seem. It’s easily better than Intentions and some other songs we’re throwing out as contenders.
Johnny Depp is a wifebeater.
September 2, 2020 at 12:11 pm #1203682183It’s how BTS music and album is critical acclaimed by the same publications y’all use to uplift you’re faves. It’s how statistically about 75% or so of their fanbase are adult but no let’s hate them because they’re a “teen act” and even if that was statistically true other teen acts have been nominated as other poster has stated.
Not that Metacritic really means anything when it comes to the Grammys but the point still stands!
Yall talk about integrity as if old town road wasn’t nominated simply because it was too big to ignore and his panned EP didn’t get an AOTY nom. As if You Need to Calm Down (no shade) wasn’t nominated.
And lastly language definitively plays a part, how many non English songs/albums have received nominations in the general/pop fields that didn’t have to go viral to do so? If language wasn’t a barrier Rosalía should of been nominated for more than just the Latin category and Best New Artist Right at the main Grammys!

I think you should focus on predicting the GRAMMYS and mind your business. Stop trying to hijack this thread with drama.

I understand they are popular, but I personally know only about a handful of people that actually listen to them. Is their popularity universal, or more internationally based? I am trying to determine if the Grammys (predominately US-focused) would embrace them.
September 2, 2020 at 12:55 pm #1203682322BTS have a world wide appeal. The U.S. fan base is massive. The Map of the Soul Tour was scheduled to be in Stadiums. 👀
They’ve performed on the GRAMMYs in February. I could see them being on their radar based on popularity. “Dynamite” has potential to be a radio hit.

Bieber has an outside shot. But I predict he’ll be completely snubbed.
A left field pick could be Halsey, BTS, or Capaldi.
