By the way, Bieber submitting both Stuck With You and Intentions could hurt the latter?

For the record I did actually overestimate her last year for the Grammy’s so I’m trying to manage expectations. Sorry if I come across overly negative.

I didn’t think Lover was going to be nominated, but I also didn’t think YNTCD was going to  be in POP SOLO. So I got one nice surprise 🙂 lets hope

Iggy Azalea had “Fancy,” “Black Widow,” and “Problem” and got in with “Fancy.”

Drake/Rihanna had “Too Good” and “Work” and got in with the latter.

    Bieber will be fine

i’m not buying that “exile is at the bottom of the list so the voters will miss it” argument

if i was a voter and first thing i saw when i opened the list was dynamite, stuck with u and my oh my, i’d make sure to scroll down immediately to find something worth voting for

How are there still people denying Exile will be in pop duo? It definitely does not need to be a single to get in especially with the names and album attached… and it’s probably winning too since I have a feeling voters won’t be embracing ROM

If Exile manages a nomination and Swift pushes it to pop radio come November, I could see her getting the win with very little effort on her part. A live performance would seal the deal.

Rain On Me is the incumbent, but Exile would have recency on its side + has a much more bait-y sound.

There’s always the chance of Dynamite being a dark horse, but considering BTS are completely untested at the Grammys, I can’t see them garnering much support.

Taylor submitted both Beautiful Ghosts and Only The Young to song for visual media — will vote spilling affect her there? How about in BMV?

Predicting that If the World Was Ending would be the “non-hit” nominated amongst #1 singles. Perhaps Exile fits that bill as well. I’m expecting it to look similar as it did last year.

Go check the list of previous nominees and especially winners of BPDG, it’s filled with hits and songs with longevity, something “exile” clearly isn’t. That song is fighting for a filler nom in that category.
