I’ll go first. I think if voters are feeling Folklore she will either get all 3 nominations or just one (she isn’t missing Pop Vocal) also I feel like the weekend should be locked but I just keep forgetting he was placed here. I think this is just me but outside of pop solo where I know he’ll win, I just forget that his album was put here.
ReplyCopy URLOctober 27, 2020 at 9:31 pm #1203807033Get real! The Weeknd is NOT missing Best Pop Vocal Album.
ReplyCopy URLOctober 27, 2020 at 9:37 pm #1203807035Bold predictions/wishful thinking.
Pop Solo will be between blinding lights and don’t start now. The “loser” wins in Record.
Pop Duo Group will go to a song that no one has been predicting to even be nominated. In Your Eyes and Exile will compete.
Pop Vocal Album is between The Weekend and Harry Styles. 2 of the predicted six will be snubbed.

Pop Duo Group will go to a song that no one has been predicting to even be nominated. In Your Eyes and Exile will compete. This is when personal taste clouds your judgement. In Your Eyes is not winning anything. Even Billie who had a lot of enthusiasm last year lost to another song in Best Pop Solo.
The only instance of a non-hit being carried to a win was with Gaga. And it was mainly because her competition was weak and she had a movie crossover hype.
ReplyCopy URLOctober 27, 2020 at 10:47 pm #1203807128The only way “In Your Eyes” pulls off a win (let alone a nomination) is if the GRAMMYs have a hard on for Doja Cat. Which I doubt.
The Weeknd won’t miss PSP or PVA, but could easily be ignored for PDGP.

I miss the part where I said The Weeknd was winning. I specifically said “compete”. Which means it would be among other 4 or 5 contenders in a lineup.
ReplyCopy URLOctober 28, 2020 at 7:43 am #1203807485I do not get the In Your Eyes hype AT ALL. The solo version is easily more popular and even then, it was a flop.
ReplyCopy URLI’m totally devastated. There’s absolutely no excuse for this. We had everything we needed to make it to next year’s Champions League and we failed. We are Liverpool and qualifying to the competition is the bare minimum. I am sorry but it’s too soon for an uplifting or optimistic post. We let you and ourselves down.

Flop – yes. One of the best pop songs released this year? Yes. I don’t think it’s far fetched for a voter to name check Abel in Pop if he’s the front runner in both Pop Solo and Pop vocal.
ReplyCopy URLOctober 28, 2020 at 1:09 pm #1203808127Keep dreaming! “In Your Eyes” is NOT happening in Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
ReplyCopy URLOctober 28, 2020 at 1:25 pm #1203808143Elton John had an instalive with Dua Lipa and he was gushing over Future Nostalgia, said every single track on the record is amazing and they can’t stop listening to it with the boys(his children ?).

ReplyCopy URLOctober 28, 2020 at 1:38 pm #1203808171The Grammys have veered away from flop remixes in the past. In Your Eyes will be no different. It’s beyond not happening.
ReplyCopy URLOctober 28, 2020 at 1:41 pm #1203808180Any nomination Doja Cat gets will be shocking tbh.
