I think Dua will win SOTY, ROTY and Pop Solo while Taylor will win AOTY, Pop Album and Pop Duo/Group Performance.
We’d love to see it! The women of the year. And my two faves.
Congratulations Taylor Swift on 6 Grammy Nominations

what’s not clicking about a whole academy of white male voters and an institution that values white artists more than black artists? Grammy voters have only been diversified recently.
November 30, 2020 at 9:04 am #1203884659The fact that taylor changes her inspirations based on her accolades lol
god some of y’all are stupid, we can’t come on here and explain the same shit every day

it’s a mess lol they’re reaching too far, tay will not sweep like that. she’s not getting all that country support and pop voters will lean towards dua more
November 30, 2020 at 9:08 am #1203884670pop voters will lean towards dua more
umm no. They’ll evenly split. Clearly they’re both beloved

Nope, Dua has ROTY/SOTY/BPSP and a random nom for un dia. She’s atleast leading in the two categories above and besides that, she’s made into a bunch of year end lists, even higher than folklore. It’s also a very pop-py album with a great era so I reckon the pop voters will lean towards her.
November 30, 2020 at 9:18 am #1203884690dua appears twice on the Guardian’s 20 best songs of 2020
November 30, 2020 at 9:20 am #1203884694That thread is so bias lol. Yes Taylor may get a lot of the country votes but seeing as there are 8 contenders I find it hard to believe that Women In Music, Everyday Life and Black Punas won’t appeal to the more open minded country audience.
Country/Americana/Folk
Taylor – 45%
HAIM – 20%
Coldplay – 20%
Black Pumas – 15%Rock/Alternative/Blues:
HAIM – 35%
Black Pumas – 20%
Coldplay – 15%
Taylor Swift – 15%
Post Malone – 10%
Jhene Aiko – 5%Hip-Hop/R&B
Jhene Aiko – 75%
Jacob Collier – 10%
Post Malone – 10%
Black Pumas – 5%POP and other Genres
Dua Lipa – 50%
Taylor Swift – 35%
Post Malone – 8%
Coldplay – 5%
Jhene Aiko – 2%Engineers, Producers, Writers, Mixers:
Dua Lipa – 40%
Jacob Collier – 30%
Taylor Swift – 20%Others- 10%
That’s my mindset right now. Ex: 3 out of every 4 rap voter will be voting for Chilombo. 3 out of every 10 Pop voter will vote for Taylor Swift etc. Considering the bulk of Grammy voters are from the Pop genre as well as mixers, writers engineers etc.. Dua has an advantage being the first pick from those voting blocks.
But so far I have them ranked as likely to win:
1. Taylor Swift
2. Dua Lipa
3. Black Pumas
4. Jacob Collier
5. Jhene Aiko
6. HAIM
7. Post Malone
8. ColdplayAs always with anything this depends on voter turnout. If urban voters don’t come out in numbers and vote then Jhene has no chance.
November 30, 2020 at 9:25 am #1203884705what if “POP and other Genres” has way more people?
considering mainstream music/pop is wide
November 30, 2020 at 9:32 am #1203884722what if “POP and other Genres” has way more people?

Pop and other genres means reggae, world music, Latin etc. not the genres previously mentioned. I’d assume those voting blocks are smaller since we rarely get a Latin album in album of the year or a reggae song or artist in song or record.
November 30, 2020 at 9:33 am #1203884729Dua Lipa announced her livestream had 5 million viewers on Friday. A middle price of ticket was 13$, so 65 million dollars. Maybe these livestream concerts can actually make easy money for labels during the pandemic.
