Even though I think Dua has ROTY in the bag, Savage remix winning would be so cool. Megan and Beyoncé really served on that song.
AOTY: folklore
ROTY: Savage (Remix)
SOTY: Don’t Start Now
BNA: Megan Thee StallionNovember 28, 2020 at 6:55 pm #1203881249Honey, we all know Tay Tay is so damn thirsty for another Album of the Year win. That’s why she rush-released her album and she knew Adele was NOT releasing in time.
Everyone wants an AOTY sis. She was supposed to release in Jan’21 but she got done with a whole new album in quarantine and decided to surprise release it. I hope you realise the surprise release could have horribly backfired especially in terms of commercial success. You guys are literally imagining things to hate on Taylor now.

Ya, SAVAGE should win ROTY.
November 28, 2020 at 7:01 pm #1203881256I finally had time to listen to the AOTY nominees and I have to say they are all stellar
I really liked Black Puma and Djesse v.3-but folklore/fn are still my front runners.FYC: future nostalgia, Sawayama, Hollywood’s bleeding
November 28, 2020 at 7:13 pm #1203881271Is anyone else bothered by how Halo was nominated for ROTY, while Single Ladies was nominated for SOTY? It feels like it should be the other way around 😖. Halo would’ve been a way better and more iconic SOTY winner than Single Ladies.
AOTY: folklore
ROTY: Savage (Remix)
SOTY: Don’t Start Now

November 28, 2020 at 7:29 pm #1203881295Black Pumas can pull a surprise win.
It would also be great that Colors wins RoTY since it apparently is the best song among 8 nominees.

November 28, 2020 at 7:35 pm #1203881299Lmao y’all literally praised Billie last year for recording an album with her brother in a damn bedroom and linking it to mental illness. Y’all seriously do the most. At the end of the day she isn’t for everyone it’s fair, but Goldderby’s double standard towards Tay is so damn laughable. I find it so damn funny how Dua is all of a sudden Goldderby’s sweetheart. So many of you trashed that girl called her a flop and even said her album was generic and mediocre at best.
Fair point
November 28, 2020 at 8:16 pm #1203881369I want folklore to win but I won’t mind if it’s future nostalgia. She’s had a great era.
November 28, 2020 at 9:07 pm #1203881439I swear some GD member are pure hypocrite wtf. Before nominations they trashed Dua, called Future Nostalgia musically blend, generic, a commercial failure since they were rooting so much on The Weeknd. But suddenly they switched the tone, the praises came out of nowhere lol.
For you consideration :
Album of the year : folklore
Record of the year : Don't Start Now
Song of the year : cardigan
Best new artist : Phoebe BridgersBest pop vocal album : folklore
Best rap album : Alfredo
Best alternative music album : Fetch the Bolt Cutters
Best progressive R&B album : Ungodly HourNovember 28, 2020 at 9:20 pm #1203881455I swear some GD member are pure hypocrite wtf. November 28, 2020 at 9:22 pm #1203881467I wonder what’s the path forward for the Grammy’s to recover and regain their prestige like the Oscars. Drake said he imagines something new and maybe rightfully so. Sometimes if something can’t get fixed, maybe better to just tear down and rebuild?
Personally I think they should replace all the inactive voting members and open up their process to music critics. I said this last year, but they really should force their voters to at least listen to a snippet of the song that they want to vote for, even a 30 second snippet. I’m pretty sure if voters actually listened to Yummy they wouldn’t have voted for it. Even callouts research, people who vote actually listen to the song. And the Grammy’s they don’t have that requirement lol. The fact that there is an online process now can make that easier. Make all voting take place online and force voters to listen to the shit they’re voting on.
Also establish a committee in Pop. There’s no point in ignoring the issue anymore.
November 28, 2020 at 9:33 pm #1203881486I feel if there was a pop committee this year, the nominees would’ve been:
Best Pop Vocal Album:
Folklore
After Hours
Future Nostalgia
Fine Line
Hollywood’s BleedingBest Pop Solo Performance:
Blinding Lights
Don’t Start Now
Circles
Cardigan
Watermelon SugarNovember 28, 2020 at 9:53 pm #1203881507Grammy need to be more transparent after this year fiasco. They should reveal the shortlist aka Top 20 just like Oscar.
